With the 3D printing process producing high resolution results, we are at a halfway point with the print job. With technological advances and know how, anyone can be a creator. This could offset a shift in thinking toward over consumption and sustainability. As the sole creator of the product involved in the process from start to finish, a new respect for design and material origin returns. The need for the ever expanding retail market can be questioned within a society where we can create tailor made product, custom specific to our personal preference; catering for our every whim.
