Radia Shamsher Wajed Ali (Brief Biography) Radia Shamsher Wajed Ali, born on 17th Jan 1948 at the town of Crater, Aden colony. Completed my primary intermediate, secondary schooling in Aden during the period 1955-1966 of the British Colonization for Aden. Left for higher studies to Algeria passed B.A impress and information science 1972, as well as passed my higher diploma in Media, Budapest-Hungary 1980. I was involved in political and women issues , since early of my age, where I found myself supporting my two brothers, who were members of FLOSY (Front Libration Of South Yemen). Participated in the women movement since the beginning of 1970 until now, where I holed many position.

Assistant Secretary-General of the Yemen Women's Union in the Unified Yemen, 2003. Previous External affairs secretary of the Yemen Women's Union, Aden 1990-1994. Cultural and Information Secretary of the Yemen Women's Union, Aden 1981-1986.
