S i t u a t e d i n H a l i f a x ’s h i s t o r i c d o w n t o w n w a t e r f r o n t , the design for this dance theatre responds to diagrammatic studies of traffic patterns surrounding the small yet dynamic site. With busy one-way streets pushing against the site on each site, the main feature of the design are a series of concrete walls that defoliate as they flex inwards to the cent r e o f t h e s i t e .
