Barton-upon-Humber Located on the south bank of the Humber estuary, Barton-upon-Humber is an historic market town. From the bustling town centre with its many shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants to the quieter nature reserve and rambling routes, Barton-upon-Humber has something to suit everyone. Our exciting development, named after Frederick Hopper, is a short walk from the amenities that Barton’s town centre has to offer, as well as being close to schools, the doctor’s surgery and post office. Barton boasts its own cricket, football and rugby clubs and it’s just a short trip over the Humber Bridge to reach the north bank – home to the 2017 European City of Culture, Kingston upon Hull.

Frederick Fields Named after Mr Frederick Hopper who founded the bicycle factory that once stood on Marsh Lane in Barton-upon-Humber, this development promises to bring together a mix of traditional and contemporary design to create something truly unique. Frederick Fields is a two-phase project. Phase one consisted of the renovation of an existing period property and the construction of two 3 bedroom detached homes, one being a house and the other a bungalow. All of our homes are finished and ready to move into when we hand over the keys; there’s no need to get the carpet fitter booked in before you can move your furniture! We are flexible and (subject to reservation), we can make changes to the design, however big or small because ultimately, we want happy customers who have a home that is truly suited to their individual needs.

Lee Etherington - Goxhill Property Buyer When my wife and I decided to move to a new house we looked at many different options and made a concerted effort to steer clear of new builds as we felt that houses these days are built to a specific formula with very little actual living space and no character. We both felt that looking at older houses would give us that something extra we had been looking for. However, the more houses we looked at the harder it was to imagine us making a move. Out of frustration we took a chance and looked at a local new build, we had never heard of Charworth Homes and did not know what to expect. A family team working on their first project, you could forgive us for being nervous, however, once we took a look around the house and met with Claire and James it did not take long for any nerves to disappear. Claire and James are a really passionate friendly team working together with the assistance of a local builder they have built a house that is sympathetic to the local environment, built out of quality materials and to the highest of standards. Although we met Clare and James towards the end of the build they still listened to our preferences and offered to make reasonable changes in the finish and make the home that bit more personal to us which we really appreciated. Throughout the build, Claire and James were happy for us to visit at any time and take a look at how things were progressing and were always very helpful. We are delighted with our new home and wish Claire and James all the best with their future business. If anyone is looking to make a move to a new build, we would highly recommend Charworth Homes.
