This property contains a chemical known by the State of California to cause cancer; and/or 2. This property contains a chemical known by the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. Proposition 65, approved by the voters in 1986, has two major purposes: (i) prevent any discharge or release of dangerous chemical in a manner that will contaminate any water supply and (ii) to prevent any exposure to any dangerous chemical unless the exposed person is first given a “clear and reasonable” warning. Since its inception, the State of California has identified and listed almost 900 chemicals. It is our desire to first and foremost provide you with the finest and safest vacation experience. We must inform you that during your time here you may be exposed to certain chemicals, which fall within the State of California Proposition 65 list of chemicals. Construction, Building Materials, Furnishings, Hardware, Maintenance Materials, Pest Control and Landscape Materials, and Cleaning Products: WARNING: Certain construction, building materials, carpets, flooring, paint, room furnishings, hardware, electrical components, maintenance and cleaning products present or used at this facility contain Proposition 65-listed chemicals, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer, and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm. Tobacco Smoke: WARNING: This facility restricts smoking to designated areas only. Smoking is prohibited in all units and balconies. Tobacco products and tobacco smoke and its by-products are known to the State of California to cause cancer, and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm. Gasoline/Diesel Engine Exhaust: WARNING: The operation of engines, including automobiles, maintenance vehicles and other small internal combustion engines associated with this facility contain Proposition 65-listed chemicals, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer, and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm. Burning Logs or Other Materials in Fireplaces/Fire Pits: WARNING: Combustion sources such as fireplaces, barbecues, and fire pits are present at this facility. Any time organic matter such as gas, charcoal or wood is burned, Proposition 65-listed chemicals are released into the air, and such exposure to chemicals are known to the State of California to cause cancer, and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm. Food, Alcoholic & Non-Alcoholic Beverages, Bottled Water: WARNING: Chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm may be present in foods or beverages sold or served here. Drinking distilled spirits, beer, coolers, wine, and other alcoholic beverages may increase cancer risk, and if consumed during pregnancy can cause birth defects.
