ADULT GOLF
GET GOLF READY – LEVEL 1 BEGINNER / CASUAL
Weekly group (min. of 4; max. of 8) instruction classes on Wednesday evenings designed to introduce golf to beginners in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
Instruction to cover the following:
•Introduction to Golf – history, rules, and etiquette •Basic swing fundamentals – grip, stance, take away, impact, and follow through •Short game basics: putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play •Full Swing – irons, fairway metals, and driver •How to: make a tee time, drive a cart, check in, etc. Dates: Session I – March 9, 16, 23, 30; Session II – April 6, 13, 20, 27; Session III – June 8, 15, 22, 29; Session IV – September 7, 14, 21, 28 Time: 5:30 – 7:00 pm Fee: $150 per person
GET GOLF READY – LEVEL 2 INTERMEDIATE (SOME EXPERIENCE OR COMPLETED LEVEL 1)
Weekly group (min. of 4; max. of 8) instruction classes on Wednesday evenings designed to advance Level 1 students to next level in a fun and friendly atmosphere. All sessions will be conducted on the golf course in real conditions.
Instruction to cover the following:
•Putting and Strategy – Distance and Direction control; green reading 101 •Chipping and Pitching – di erence between; club choice strategy; conditions •Importance of Impact for a variety of shots – full swing •Putting it all together on the course Dates: Session I – May 4, 11, 18, 25; Session II – July 6, 13, 20, 27; Session III - October 5, 12, 19, 26 Time: 5:30 – 7:00 pm Fee: $150 per person Private Instruction available – call the golf shop at 817.410.3377 for rates and program o erings.
JUNIOR GOLF (AGE 8 – 17)
GRAPEVINE GC JUNIOR ACADEMY
For beginner to intermediate golfers age 8 – 12 years old.
LEVEL 1 – BEGINNER TO INTERMEDIATE
•Fun, structured year–round learning environment •1 each weekday (Wednesdays) practice and 1 each weekend (Sundays) practice administered by Grapevine Golf Club professional sta •2 each playing activities (3–9 holes) per month •Range access ($25 per month) outside of practice sessions •10% o Junior Green Fee rates (Monday – Thursday) and weekend twilight rates •Limited to 10 participates/juniors Day / Time: Wednesdays 4:30 – 5:30 pm Sundays 2:00 – 3:00 pm Fee (monthly): $250 (3 month min commitment, 30 day notice to withdraw)
