The space is 3D
but “who stole the physics”? Minecraft is a true 3D building game that requires a cer tain level of stere oscopic vision. How ever, the laws of physics do not always apply. For instance, most blocks would not fall down even if hang ing in the air. What is more, sometimes you can even fly. 10
Never dig upwards Most blocks cannot fall down so you are free to mine in mines. But you’d better look out. Certain materials do drop when not supported from underneath. One such material is sand. The other is gravel that is found in caves. Never dig upwards because if those fall, you will get badly hurt.
Enjoy the flight In Creative mode you do not have to fight off mobs or obtain various resources. You can, however, freely fly around your buildings and break any material immediately.
Lots of teams are created purely for the fun of building together. In those cases, structures composed of tens of thousands of blocks may be crafted by a team in a period of weeks.
This is interesting!
When creating a new world, you have various configuration options. If, for instance, you would like to craft in Creative mode, you can request a superflat world. Here you can specify the types of blocks making up the layers, and even the thickness of each individual layer.
The world of the game
Starter chest
Each player has completely different worlds. The reason for this is that the game randomly generates worlds based on the seed. As it is done based on a serial number, we ourselves can specify such a number or by copying a randomly generated number, we can create an identical world. If you do not feel like starting the game from square one, you have the option to request a starter kit. In this case you will find a chest near your spawn point filled with tools and objects useful for starting the game.
11
To quickly fell trees, you need an axe. When tilling the soil, you need a hoe, and to shovel some sand or gravel fast, you need a spade. To fight you need to make a sword and to mine valuable resources you need a strong pickaxe. These tools make the very essence of the game. As a rule of thumb, you should have one of each with you at all times.
Tools and how to use them Sword Hoe
Spade
Axe Pickaxe
This is interesting!
With the exception of the fishing rod, the clock and the compass, you cannot stack tools in your inventory.
Tip If you place a clock in an item frame on the wall, it makes a great decorative item.
16
Improving tools At the beginning of the game you make everything from wood. Later, as you acquire the first rocks, you can make stone tools. But to be the most effective, you need to “produce diamond tools. If you really want to immerse yourself in crafting, you need to make lots of other tools beyond the five basic items. For instance, to make a fire you need a flint and iron. If you want to know where your starting point is, you can use the compass. If you happen to mine in a dark cave, you need a clock to know what time it is.
Gold or diamond? As you use more advanced resources to make your tools, you can be more effective in working Minecart with them. The only exception to the above rule is gold. Although Minecart with furnace golden tools are even faster than those made of diamond, the most If you need to cover long distances in water, advanced variation, but they wear you’d better craft a boat than swim all the extremely fast. For instance, you way. You can travel much faster this way. can use a golden tool for only 33 blocks but a diamond one will last for 1562.
Vehicle
Minecart with hopper Minecart with chest
Storage You do not really have many options for this in the game; you only have two chests available (normal chest and enderchest). If you place two wooden chests next to each other, you can double its storage capacity. One special version of a chest is the trapped chest. It produces redstone signal if opened.
Rail
Minecart with TNT
A real mining game must have a mine rail. You can build an entire rail network you can travel back and forth in your minecart. It is good to know that if you place different blocks in the minecarts, you can empower them with special qualities. – A minecart with furnace also serves as an engine. Although it cannot pull, it can push. – The minecart with chest can be used to store and transport items. – The minecart with hopper collects scattered items. – The minecart with TNT can explode.
17
Creeper anatomy Night vision to be able to identify the player, i.e. its victim.
Although almost silent, it does emit a warning “Ssssssssssssshhhhh sound before the explosion.
It has no arms, yet it climbs well.
30
Its tiny brain has been programmed to follow and detonate you, your items and your house.
A special nervous system that delays the explosion by 1.5 seconds.
An effective mix of sand and gunpowder.
Legs easily negotiating any terrain.

What are those events? Every once in a while the normal everyday lives of servers are shaken up by some unexpected events. These events work on a “game within the game basis and usually last for 5–15 minutes.
Spleef One of the most classic events is spleef. In this mini game players walk on a wool layer. When the game starts, everyone gets a pair of scissors to remove the wool from under the others (those clumsy ones even from underneath themselves). The one who falls loses. The player to be the last on the field wins.

Obstacle course Obstacle courses are popular not only in PE classes but also in Minecraft. The task is very simple: you need to run and jump along the labyrinth-like course. The one who crosses the finish line first wins. Obstacle events normally last until at least 3 players reach the finish.
Pixel Jump It might look like spleef at first sight but you will quickly learn that here you do not knock the blocks out from under each other. The system randomly changes the colour of a few blocks and you’d better run away from those because in a few seconds they will disappear. You never run out of blocks completely because with each round some new blocks appear, but the number of blocks being replaced increases with each round so it becomes gradually more difficult to stay on top. The last player standing wins the event.
OX event OX is nothing else than a true/false quiz game. You get a statement and you need to decide whether it is true. If it is, you need to run to the field marked with a circle. If it is false, you head for the field with an X. The ones standing on the wrong side fall in each round. Just to make it more educational, the system always reveals an interesting fact after dropping those that gave the wrong answer to ensure that next time they give the right answer.

Building teams United we stand! This proverb holds absolutely true in the world of Minecraft. The largest creations composed of up to millions of blocks are usually managed not by a single individual but by a whole team. This requires serious teamwork. Usually team members determine in advance the use of the key formal elements and blocks so that the final product look consistent. This is a larger project, often taking months.
WorldEdit – This is serious help When you use the WorldEdit plugin, you do not need to place each and every block. You can create entire walls with certain simple commands. You can also use the well-known method of copy and paste. For instance, you only need to build one village building and paste it multiple times. Then you can slightly modify each to ensure that they do not completely identical.
Without help Certain teams decided to craft without help from the WorldEdit plugin. This, of course, is a much more difficult task but they can feel much prouder when they are finished.

Time lapse One huge advantage of building block by block is that you can create awesome time-lapse videos. As this building method results in everything being displayed at a steady speed, you will not see one house at one moment and another house the next as you would when you use WorldEdit. Now there are even 360-degree time-lapse videos available where you can look around while the world around you is being created. This method allows you to watch days of construction in a matter of minutes.
