Readers presenting the voucher from the magazine in any of the stores of the famous coffee chain received their favorite beverage for free! Grazia worked closely with Starbucks to talk to Grazia’s social media followers, promoted Starbucks in the magazine, and fed the message on digital platforms and the website to increase sales and awareness. Both offers were mentioned on the magazine cover to attract readers to buy the magazine.

As part of a Coca Cola advertising promotion, Grazia South Africa and Coca Cola Light offered a lucky reader the chance to win two fabulous Marc Jacobs items – an Oh, Lola! fragrance and a pair of sunglasses. To participate in the contest, readers had to answer an easy question by text message and supply their names and emails by August 11.

Grazia Spain cooperated with the Woguers (Women-FashionBloggers) project that aims to bring together bloggers and the worlds of international fashion and luxury products. The event welcomed different specialists in the sector. The first meeting was held in May in Seville, the second on June 19 at the Westin Palace Hotel in Madrid and the third on July 25 in Marbella. Grazia also gave readers a chance to participate. Registering with the www. woguers.com website using the Grazia code indicated in the issue, readers could receive a discount for registration. The workshop ended with a party held at Moma Club where models, advertisers and celebrities enjoyed music, food and delicious cocktails.

Grazia awards the world OF CINEMA! It’s a cinema-filled summer for Grazia France! From June 28 to July 9, the magazine was a partner of Festival Paris Cinema, the international film festival that welcomed famous actors like Roman Polanski and Charlotte Rampling. The 10 films presented in preview competed for the Public’s Award,
the Bloggers’ Award, the Students’ Award, and, above all, the Grazia Award. For the occasion, the magazine created a jury composed of 5 people: 3 Grazia journalists and 2 subscribers selected through a Facebook contest. During the entire festival, which was held at ESPACE PARIS CINÉMA, the people waiting to enter the theater received a copy of Grazia France. Many Parisians and people from all over attended, which made the event a huge success!

Italian Summer Garden Night

In July, the Grazia 2013 Gala Dinner was held at Mandarin Oriental Pudong in Shanghai. Grazia China invited guests to a delightful fresh summer garden to enjoy a cool and fun Italian summer night. At the event, that combined Chinese and Italian elements, Chinese Kunqu opera opened the festivities to surprise the guests in this lovely Italian garden. Grazia’s management also made a speech to the guests, sharing information about business development plans and the latest TV projects and news. Each guest received a nice Italian goody bag at the end of the dinner.

Summer gets a head start in Cervia thanks to Nivea and Grazia. Grazia Italy, in cooperation with Nivea, distribu-ted 400 copies per week throughout July and August at Fantini Club in Cervia, one of the most famous beaches on the Adriatic Sea. There was also a special beauty area (Nivea Sea Lounge) where Nivea hostesses offered personalized advice and free samples.

To build a good relationship with fashion and beauty bloggers, Grazia Indonesia invited 14 of them to Jakarta in July for breakfast during Ramadan. Grazia talked about the latest fashion and beauty trends and discussed how they work together in print and through digital media. One of the bloggers said it was a nice gathering.

To celebrate Women’s Month in August, Grazia and Topshop invited 50 readers to join them for an evening of fun and shopping at its Sandton City store in Johannesburg. To participate in the event, readers had to send an e-mail to Grazia with the keyword “Topshop”. Grazia staff members covered key spring/summer trends and dished out styling tips. They also shared their stories about the world of magazines and the balancing act of being moms/wives/girlfriends. Readers shopped with a 15% discount during the evening.

Candy color party with Kate Spade At the special themed “Candy Color Party” held at Muse lounge, Grazia readers had their photos taken on their arrival. After the party, the photos were posted on the website and on Weibo for readers to vote and follow. Kate Spade New York – popular for its stylish designer clothing, handbags and shoes – provided KSNY x Darcel postcards and mobile phone stickers as gifts for party-goers. This summer the Slovenian city of Maribor hosted a special fashion event called Grazia loves fashion. The creations of many Slovenian, Austrian, Croatian and Italian designers appeared on the 50 meter catwalk was set up for this exclusive fashion show and, of course, Grazia Slovenia was there! Grazia was the media partner of this event, which was the city’s first international fashion show. What’s more, the aftershow party continued all night! Grazia was thrilled to be a part of this fashion event!
