Future-focused courses

We appreciate that thinking about the future can feel overwhelming at times. That’s why our degrees are designed to support your artistic practice and develop your career potential. We believe it’s more important than ever that young people feel optimistic about their future careers.

We are proud of the industry relevance of our courses and our record of graduate employment. Our courses have been developed in consultation with employers. Our teaching staff are practitioners from the creative industries who understand employer expectations.

Students work on live projects and commissions for external organisations. Many undertake invaluable work experience with high-profile brands, publishers, production companies and recording artists.

Courses include lectures from visiting industry professionals and ‘meet the industry’ days. We also teach entrepreneurial skills, and many graduates go on to become successful freelancers or launch their own businesses.

Within every course and throughout the College, we seek to consider, encourage and champion sustainable practices and the sustainability of our graduates’ futures. We are mindful of the environmental and cultural impact of our creative practices and approach to design. UAL oversees the standards and quality of our curriculum, further enriching your overall learning experience. UAL has been ranked second in the world for art and design.* Their graduates make up the majority of Turner Prize winners, British Designer of the Year winners and London Fashion Week designers.

If you’re interested in continuing your studies to postgraduate level, MET graduates (who have completed a UAL-validated degree) receive a 20% tuition fee discount on a taught Masters course at UAL.

Our creative degrees are validated by the University of the Arts London (UAL)
