The degree will build on your existing skills and knowledge through practical learning to develop an understanding of professional, practical and creative skills.

Key features:

– You will be supported and led by lecturers who are experts in their field

– Visiting lecturers / workshops from performers, directors and choreographers working in the industry – 11 rehearsal studios, five with sprung dance floors and mirrors

– Professional-standard theatre with industrylevel equipment – Collaboration with makeup, costume and technical theatre students – Alumni are working in West End and UK touring shows, TV and film, and for many of the leading cruise ship companies

Specialised vocal technique training Acting and dance techniques Music theory Choral singing Audition practice Portfolio development Choreography and acting through song

On this course you will have many opportunities to perform live. Previous performance opportunities have included: agent showcases, performances in Brighton Fringe, dance exhibitions, supporting music artists as backing dancers and singers, cabarets across the South East, catwalk and theatrical modelling (including special effects makeup), choreographic work, voiceover work for films and promotional media, and mass movement projects.

Throughout this course, you will have the opportunity to engage with the study and practice of both traditional and innovative areas of musical performance.
