New Perks Added to Greater Midland Community Center Membership The Greater Midland Community Center is very excited to unveil a new benefit for our members. Beginning with our Fall 1 Session (Sept. 2-Oct. 27), anyone who holds a Premier, Diamond, Community Center Multi, or Community Center Core (Wellness, Swim or Courts) membership will now receive a discounted price on many of our programs. This is one of the many perks that come with whichever Community Center membership you choose (see below for details). We are happy to offer this new perk to members. Not a member? Not a problem! If you’re interested in joining the Community Center, we’d love to have you on our team. For more information about how to join, visit greatermidland.org/membership/, call 989-832-7937, or stop in and talk with our Welcome Center. Kevin Heye Executive Director Greater Midland Community Center
WHICH MEMBERSHIP TYPE ALLOWS ME TO GET THE LOWER PROGRAM PRICING? Anyone with a valid Diamond, Premier, Community Center Multi, or one of the Community Center Core memberships (Wellness, Swim or Courts) will pay the lower price.
I HAVE AN ADULT MEMBERSHIP. WHY DOESN’T MY CHILD GET THE MEMBER PRICE, TOO? The discount only applies if the person taking the class holds a valid membership. WHICH PROGRAMS HAVE MEMBER/PARTICIPANT PRICING? Most of our aquatic, dance, gymnastic and athletic programs will have two-tiered pricing: Member and Participant. If only one price is listed, members and program participants will pay the same amount. WHY ARE THERE TWO PRICES? For decades members and participants have paid the same price for Community Center programs. But in order to assure long-term sustainability, we are moving to this tiered pricing plan. WHAT IF I HOLD A MEMBERSHIP AT A DIFFERENT GREATER MIDLAND SITE LIKE NORTH-END FITNESS OR THE TENNIS CENTER? Since the tiered pricing is only for Community Center programs, only memberships that include the Community Center will receive the discount. WHAT ARE SOME OTHER MEMBERSHIP PERKS? It depends on the type of membership you select. Our Premier Members, for instance, have unlimited access to areas including our pools, Wellness Center, Land & Water Group Exercise Classes, Courts and Rock Climbing Wall.
