If we have not yet met, please stop by the tennis center and introduce yourself. I enjoy the opportunity to meet members each day. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been exploring Midland as well as the many offerings at the Tennis Center. From youth programs to tournaments, the Greater Midland Tennis Center is certainly the destination for all things tennis.

For our youngest players, we offer preschool, kindergarten, grades 1 & 2, and grades 3-5 programs. This pathway grows

the foundation of athletic movement, builds character and provides lots of fun! As players progress through our junior program, we focus on building skills and technique as children prepare for future competitive programs. Instead of letting the kids have all the fun, join in! Adult tennis programs are great way to enjoy a new sport, reconnect with an old hobby or meet new friends on the courts. Our new punch card drop-in program gives you the freedom to pick which classes fit your hectic schedule at any time! Thank you for welcoming me back to Midland! MEMBERSHIP The Greater Midland Tennis Center is ranked one of the top 25 tennis facilities in the United States and in 2009, the U.S. Tennis Association rated Midland the “Best Tennis Town in America.” Each year the Dow Tennis Classic, a world-renowned Women’s USTA Pro-Circuit Tournament, is held at the Tennis Center. YOU can play on the same courts as the pros! The Tennis Center features 16 indoor courts and 19 full-sized outdoor courts, including 4 clay courts. The wide variety of class offerings, including Pickle Ball, caters to people of all ages and skill levels. Classes, lessons and clinics are taught by top tennis professionals who can help you prepare for competitive play or just learning to love the game.

Our Preschool aged program uses Tennis Whizz, a national program for children age 5 and younger. Let’s Play! This is a great program that gives kids a chance to play the great sport of tennis. Participants will be split up and placed on a team.
