GREENSBORO FACTS • Greensboro was named after Revolutionary War General Nathanael Greene. • “Gate City” and “Jeansboro” are our nicknames due to the many railroads that intersected in the city, and WranglerTM was bult here in the 1940s. • Greensboro was founded in 1808. Registered Hotel Guest- Wireless Internet is offered complimentary for registered hotel guests by logging in under their name and their guest room number. Non-Registered Hotel Guest- we offer a flat daily (24 hours) rate of $10 per user/computer for those wishing to pay with a credit card.

Currently, groups that want to offer their non-registered Hotel guests wireless Internet at their own expense, we offer a discounted daily rate (24 hour period) of $7.50 per user/computer that would be charged to the group master account. For groups choosing this option, we need to know in advance the number of group users per day who will require the discounted $7.50 rate so that a wireless Internet code unique to the group can be created and given to the group attendees as the group determines.

Attrition and Cancellation Policies ATTRITION: The Sheraton Greensboro Hotel is pleased to be able to offer groups booking guestrooms more than 12 months out a 20% attrition policy. The policy asks for a review date of 10 months prior to the event with a voluntary 10% reduction at that time followed by an additional 10% allowable at the conclusion of the event. CANCELLATION: Any cancelled event that is not covered by the Force Majeure/ Act of God clause is subject to liquidated damages. These liquidated damage fees are proportional to the amount of lost revenues that were anticipated by the Hotel and the amount of time prior to the start date of the event that it was cancelled.
