YOU’RE A PEOPLE PERSON!? REALLY!? Sweden’s employment office accidentally emailed 61,000 people who were looking for work in Stockholm to come in and interview for a job. I AM SO EMBARRASSED … A woman called the local police to report that a button switch had fallen off her powered recliner, leaving her stuck in the fully reclined position. The officer came and reinstalled the switch, allowing her to resume her normal position and activity. DON’T WE KNOW EACH OTHER FROM SCHOOL? Two armed men forced their way into a house in Virginia, and robbed the homeowner of jewelry and money. The victim told police that he recognized one of his attackers, because he had gone to school with him. He showed the cops the guy’s yearbook picture. LET’S SEE HOW YOU LIKE THIS PRISON ... Three people were arrested for breaking into an abandoned prison. They were taken to a prison that is fully staffed and functioning.
HE SHOULD HAVE SEEN THAT ONE COMING ... A man was stabbed on a local street in Tennessee, by a thug who had the word “psycho” tattooed on his forehead. THIS COULD HURT YOUR CASE, MADAM ... After a woman rear-ended a police cruiser in Victoria, the officer asked to check her cellphone for evidence. On it was the following message: “I was trying to text you. Ran into a cop car. OMG!” WAS THAT A FLASH? ... A man, who jimmied open the cash drawer of a photo booth located at an amusement park assumed that he wouldn’t be photographed while he was committing the crime. Incorrect. The booth has a security system that automatically will take your picture if you tamper with it in any way. IT LOOKS LIKE YOU JUST SET A NEW RECORD ... A man was involved in two automobile accidents within seven minutes of each other. He was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

surance and prescription drugs, just wait until there may be no doctor to see. NbC
News recently broadcast a story about how fewer young people are entering the med-
ical profession. the network cited a report from the association of american medical Colleges that "projected a shortage of 42,600 to 121,300 physicians by 2030, up from its 2017 projected shortage of 40,800 to 104,900 doctors." only part of it has to do with the high cost of medical school and lengthy residencies. i asked my longtime family physician, dr. John Curry, now retired, for his opinion. dr. Curry holds md and Ph.d. degrees, but quit medicine for reasons he explained to me in an email. "the explanation for the exodus is very simple: over the 40 years i had my medical office, that which is described as 'the Practice of medicine' underwent a profound and 'fundamental change': in 1974, 'medicine' was a transaction between patients (who needed diagnosis, treatment, and/or prevention) and physicians (who belonged to an exclusive class of professionals who worked under the demanding -- and almost religious -- mores of the

[Clearly it costs a Lot, because a few new billionaires are generated every year.] "meanwhile, the interests of patients (which used to be the main driver of medical care) have been replaced by concern for the bottom line. and physicians, who used to be the substance of medical care, now find themselves no more than compliant (and replaceable) cogs in the machinery. ['Get me two more instrument sterilizers, another mri, 12 ward nurses, two eNts and another hospitalist!'] "becoming a physician no longer has the appeal of joining a profession in which one can expect to do a lot of good in the world, advance scientific knowledge, have a lifestyle that balances work and family and earn a better-than-average living. if those are your aims, you would do better to become a funeral director." i'd add one other element: the over-involvement of government in medical care, when it should be doing more to promote good health, including a "to the moon" program to cure diseases such as alzheimer's and cancer. if it did, there would be less need for care because fewer people would get sick. dr. ID YOU KNOW? X-Rays were discovered by accident. While experimenting with cathode rays covered by thick cardboard in
1985, Wilhelm Roentgen noticed a light being cast on a fluorescent board across the room. The first X-ray was of the hand of his wife, who saw the image of her bones and exclaimed 'I have seen my death!' -so he named
ARIES (March 21-April 19): Don't rush to judgment. It may be better to hold off on drawing any conclusions as you may not yet have all the facts at your disposal. Remain calm in the face of adversity as things will quickly improve. TAURUS (Apr. 20-May 20): Petty squabbles with those who are on your side may leave you as a solo act if you're not careful. Don't assume that your concerns are more important than anyone else's this week. GEMINI (May 21-June 20): Just because they offer you Kool-Aid doesn't mean you have to drink it. Keep in mind that those who are overly optimistic may make foolish or reckless decisions. Let common sense be your guide in the week ahead.
Powerful Prayer To The HOLY SPIRIT Holy Spirit, you who solves all problems, who lights all roads so that I can attain my goal, you who give me the divine gift to forgive and forget all evil against me and that in all the instances in my life you are with me. I want in this short prayer to thank you for all things and to confirm once again that I never want to be separated from you even in spite of all material things. I wish to be with you in eternal glory. Thank you for your mercy towards me and mine. This person must say this prayer for 3 consecutive days. After 3 days the favor requested will be granted even if it may appear difficult. This prayer must be published immediately after the favor is granted without mentioning the favor. Only your initials should appear at the bottom. B.K.

CANCER (June 21-July 22): Let them accept you as you are in the upcoming week. Someone who makes you bend over backwards to please is taking advantage so draw the line. Your generosity should be your choice, not someone else's. LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): Maintain a modicum of moderation. Getting too passionate or excited over a new interest may cause you to go overboard so try to keep your wits about you. You may be attracted to gaudy or tasteless items this week.
Prayer To The Blessed Virgin (Never Known to Fail)
Oh, most beautiful flower of Mt. Carmel, fruitful vine, splendor of Heaven, Blessed Mother of the son of God. Immaculate Virgin assist me in my necessity. Oh, Star of the Sea, help me and show me, herein you are my Mother, Oh, Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth! I humbly beseech you from the bottom of my heart to succor me in this necessity. There are none that can withstand your power. Oh, show me herein you are my Mother. Oh Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse in thee (3x). Holy Mother, I place this cause in your hands (3x). Holy Spirit, you who solve all problems, light all roads so that I can attain my goal. You who gave me the divine gift to forgive and forget all evil against me that in all instances in my life you are with me. I want in this short prayer to thank you for all the things as you confirm once again that I never want to be separated from you in eternal glory. Thank you for your mercy towards me and mine. The person must say this prayer 3 consecutive days. After 3 days the request will be granted. This prayer must be published after the favor is granted.

Group dynamics may influence your choices in October, when you may become involved with a wider range of social activities. In December you might prefer to waste your time on romantic fantasies, but duties will call, and it will be better to avoid romantic entanglements. January, when your shrewdness and negotiation skills are at their best, is the best time to make key purchases and financial decisions. You can afford to slack off in February and could take a vacation or rest on your laurels.

Investigated For Letting Her Kid Walk the Dog
OREY WIDEN LET HER 8-YEAR-OLD do the most normal, cheerful thing in the world -- walk the dog around the block. After the girl returned home, the doorbell rang. It was the police. The cops had received a call about an unsupervised child and had to question the mom. After doing so, they quickly dropped the matter.
But then the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services picked it up again -- interrogating not just Widen but her kids, other family members and even her pediatrician. This was all because of the ridiculous assumption that one must leave no stone unturned when it comes to children's safety, even when the inciting incident is benign as taking the dog for a walk -- in my hometown, of all places. That's right. Wilmette, Illinois, is where I would walk to kindergarten, just like everyone else. I was just 5 years old, and my crossing guard was a sixth-grader. No one arrested my mom or shut down the school for allowing a tween to direct traffic. Can it be that the world has become so dangerous in the intervening years? Here are the Wilmette crime stats: The overall crime rate in Wilmette is 59 percent lower than the national average. For every 100,000 people, there are 3.18 daily crimes that occur in Wilmette. Wilmette is safer than 83 percent of the cities in the United States. I don't mean to imply that a town has to be this super safe for parents to allow their kids outside. But if we are investigating parents who let their kids go outside when there is almost every reason to believe they are going to be fine, what are we investigating them for? Trusting their kids? Their neighborhood? Their grasp of statistics? If we can investigate parents for not doing anything dangerous or unusual, do parents have any rights at all? "This case should have been screened out immediately and not sent for an investigation," Diane Redleaf, a longtime family defense attorney and author of the forthcoming book "They Took the Kids Last Night: How the Child Protection System Puts Families at Risk," told me. Under the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services' new rules, she said, this is actually not neglect. Adopted in 2016 in the wake of the Natasha Felix case -- the mom investigated for letting her kids, ages 11, 9, and 5, play in the park across the street from her

STARTING THIS WEEK: ADRIFT: Their new romance takes two young people, played by Shailene Woodley and Sam Claflin, on a quest to return a boat to California - which turns into a fight to survive - in this fact-inspired drama. They sail right into a Category 4 hurricane, and once the waves hit their vessel, they have a lot more to concern themselves with than blossoming love. Wellexecuted special effects help the overall result greatly, along with the involving performances. WON'T YOU BE MY NEIGHBOR? Memories are bound to come flooding back for many viewers of this wonderful documentary recalling the gentle wisdom of the late Fred Rogers, whose television classic "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood'' - which actually originated on Canadian TV - kept countless youngsters company and taught them life lessons. A number of his colleagues reflect on their experiences with the sweater-wearing icon and the impact that he had, in what proved to be quite an emotional time in the theater and a box-office success during its original run. Tom Hanks is slated to portray Rogers in a forthcoming film.

YOUNG SHELDON: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON: The earlier years of Jim Parsons' unnervingly brainy "The Big Bang Theory'' character Sheldon Cooper are examined in this CBS spinoff, one of the few certifiable hits among new series last season ... so, of course, it will have a second year that starts soon. Iain Armitage is perfectly cast as young Sheldon, whose pernickety ways are quite clear to his parents. Jon Favreau directed the pilot, and Howard Deutch called the shots on other episodes. ROYAL WEDDINGS ON FILM: Highlights of of England's most prominent marital events during the past century are compiled in this documentary. As might be expected, given the timing of this release, the relatively recent nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are included. So is the wedding of his brother, Prince William, to Kate Middleton - and the siblings' mother, Princess Diana, is seen taking her vows with Prince Charles. Delving farther back into history, the program also covers the wedding of the then-future King George VI, the first royal wedding that the public was able to see.

and neglect cases say it's important to thoroughly check out all allegations, and it's hard to create a system that doesn't have at least some level of subjectivity." She quotes DCFS spokesman Neil Skene as saying: "We want to investigate ... because you just don't know. You also don't want to say (to the public), 'Don't call us unless it's serious.' There are all these other cases where we say, 'If only someone had called us.'" But how many "if only someone had called us" cases involved walking the dog or letting a kid wait in the car while Mom picks up the pizza? When normal parenting can be interpreted as neglect or abuse, no family is safe. Not even in my sweet hometown.

My Family Will Help Me Take Alex Trebek’s Job
INCHED FORWARD IN THE MCDONALD'S DRIVE THROUGH LANE, dreaming about power. This time next month, would I even have to sandwich my car between two minivans full of youth soccer teams, piloted by haggard moms futilely attempting to scream intricate orders into loud speakers operated by employees with faulty headsets? "I need
SEVEN CHEESEBURGERS, two with no ketchup, one with three pickles, two with one pickle, one well done and one with no cheese." "Uh, Mrs. Sullivan, I forgot to tell you, I can't be around sesame seeds." "Hello? Cancel that order. I need SEVEN BACON RANCH SALADS, one with no bacon..." Scenes like this will be alleviated once I win the coveted McGold Card. In an effort to get customers to try its mobile app, creative minds at the Golden Arches recently launched a "Free Food for Life" contest, albeit one with a slight "McCatch." A single winner will receive a custom gold-plated phone case (the modern version of a members-only card) and eat for free, but that winner will be limited to two free meals a week for 50 years, at no more than $7 a pop. Right now, that amount would allow me to purchase my favorite, marginally healthy, McDonald's items -- Egg White Delights, Artisan Grilled Chicken Sandwiches and Diet Cokes -but who knows how much prices might spike in 10 years, five years or even six months? Trump tariffs anyone? My reason for entering the contest has nothing to do with my wallet. No, I just want to flash that McGold Card whenever I enter McDonald's. What will be the reaction? Will my shakes be creamier? Will a few extra fries be stuffed into my red container compliments of management, who feel honored to be in the presence of McDonald's royalty? Will the fry cooks temporarily stop building quarter pounders and remove their hats? Will they argue over who gets the right to assemble my sandwich? Will there be selfie requests? I'm guessing the answers to all these questions will be a definitive "no." Still, who doesn't like the feeling that you're a rung above everybody else vying for the same services? For several years, I achieved something called "Executive Platinum" status on a major airline.

Pets How To Protect Your Pets From Extreme Heat EXTREME HEAT can be unpleasant for anyone, and pets are no exception. While it's easy for men and women to detect if their bodies are responding negatively to the heat, those warning signs may not be so prevalent in pets, who just may suffer in silence as the mercury continues to rise. Pet owners must pay special attention to their pets on hot days, which the Humane Society of the United States notes can be both uncomfortable and dangerous for pets. In an effort to help pet owners protect their pets from the summer heat, the HSUS offers the following tips to pet owners who want to keep their pets cool and safe this summer. · Don't leave pets in a parked car. The temperature inside a car can quickly approach dangerous levels on hot days, so pet owners should never leave their pets in parked cars, even if they leave the air conditioning on and the engine running. The HSUS says that on an 85 degree day, the temperatures inside a car with a slightly
cracked window can reach 102 degrees in as little as 10 minutes. Rather than taking pets with you on car trips, leave them at home inside a comfortably air conditioned room where they won't be vulnerable to rising temperatures. · Change pet's exercise regimen. Pet owners who make sure their pets get daily exercise should change routines when temperatures are on the rise. Those midday walks or jogs should be switched to evenings or early mornings, when temperatures tend to be at their most moderate. In addition, cut back on the time spent exercising, as pets may have trouble breathing on hot days. When taking your dog for a jog or a run in the summertime, do so on the grass, avoiding the asphalt, as hot asphalt can do some significant damage to paws. · Be mindful of your breed. Dog owners should recognize that certain dogs can handle the heat better than others. Short-nosed breeds have a harder time in extreme heat because their
I was notified of this achievement via a glossy envelope that arrived in my mailbox in December. Inside, I found jet black luggage tags that, once affixed to my carry-on bags, would let the general traveling public know they are stuck in the minor leagues while I'm a member of the Big Show. Along with the tags, I received a special toll-free reservations number where wait times were

measured in minutes, not hours. My name suddenly appeared at the top of first-class upgrade lists, even if I showed up mere seconds before the boarding process, crushing the dreams of hopeful coach passengers hoping they might finally get a chance to receive a complimentary cocktail and actual legroom. Sadly, my prominence was fleeting; retaining Executive Platinum status meant flying 100,000

a diet of McDonald's food for the last six weeks of the year so I can hit a pre-determined target. My cardiologist will be overjoyed. Normally I shy away from these lifetime temptations. In 1999, when digital video recorder TiVo burst onto the market, my wife and I were among the first customers. Buried within the manuals was an offer for a pricey lifetime service plan. My wife wanted to buy it; I hesitated. "Who knows? In five years, this thing might be as antiquated as a VCR," I said. I was correct, as boxes from most cable companies now include the ability to record and store all 29 seasons of "The Simpsons." But, despite this country's willingness to seek out healthier food choices, McDonald's isn't going anywhere. The Big Mac I devoured when I was 7 will taste the same when I'm 70, although I'll probably consume half, saving the remainder for tomorrow's dinner. So, McDonald's employees, I'm ready for my shot at lifelong notoriety. When I flash that McGold Card at your establishment, remember that I prefer extra ice in my Diet Cokes and no lettuce on my chicken sandwiches.

shorter airways don't allow as much time for the air they breathe in to cool as dogs with longer noses. In addition, the HSUS points out that dogs with white-colored ears are more susceptible to skin cancer than other dogs, making it imperative that owners of such dogs reduce their exposure to the sun. · Let dogs inside. Doghouses might not be as prevalent as they once were, but many owners still keep doghouses in their backyards so their friends have a place to relax outdoors on lazy afternoons. But doghouses can be very similar to parked cars on especially hot days, making rising temperatures feel even hotter. Let dogs hang out inside in an air conditioned room on hot days to reduce their risk of heatstroke. · Learn to recognize the signs of heatstroke. Pets suffering from heatstroke will show certain symptoms, and pet owners who learn to recognize those symptoms can do something before it's too late. Heavy panting, glazed eyes, rapid heartbeat, difficulty breathing, excessive thirst, and lack of coordination are just a few of the potential indicators that a pet is suffering from heatstroke. Animals that are very old, very young, overweight, and unaccustomed to prolonged exercise, have heart and respiratory problems, are more susceptible to heatstroke. Extreme heat can be very dangerous to pets, who often suffer in silence when dealing with the heat. Pet owners who take certain precautions and learn to recognize signs of a pet struggling can better protect their animals from succumbing to rising temperatures.

Family Faces Huge and Unexpected Challenge By Amy Dickinson
DEAR AMY: I married my husband three years ago. We're in our early 40s. His younger sister has two children, ages 8 and 2. The children were in a very bad situation, which ultimately led to them being sent to live with my in-laws two states away. The courts are involved and the children are in counseling. My in-laws are well into their 60s. It's clear to everyone that my sister-in-law won't get the children back likely ever, and my in-laws are not in a position to raise kids for another 15 years. My husband and I are child-free by choice and have, frankly, no desire to raise a family not our own. This is causing anxiety and stress, but we are unified in the knowledge that we might need to step in when his parents can no longer handle things. His mom has shown some serious lapses in judgment during the time she's had the kids. I'm struggling to reconcile my selfish feelings of not wanting a family, and taking on the family of someone who was irresponsible. Not to mention, the emotional trauma the children will continue to have. I'm so angry at my sister-in-law. We had plans to travel far and wide. Now we're talking about settling down somewhere where his parents could potentially live near us with the kids. None of us want this, but foster care isn't an option. I don't know what to do with any of this. -- Reluctant DEAR RELUCTANT: I applaud your realization that you will make a choice to benefit these children. Family members who pick up the pieces and raise innocent children caught in the crossfire of family dysfunction or the addiction crisis are unsung heroes to a generation of children. You mention that you both have no desire to raise a family "not our own," but these children are in your family, and I hope you will start the process to make them your own. You should try to take this in stages, starting as soon as possible. Getting to know the children when they are this young will help all of you to make a transition toward living together. You and the grandparents could start by sharing parenting duties (as many families do). Even if you are the primary parents, the grandparents could be enormously helpful, possibly giving you and your husband opportunities to travel a bit. Yes, this is NOT what you had planned for. Yes, you are angry, and yes, you will mourn for the radical shift in your plans. But this is what life is about. Illness, job loss, random acts of violence -- or kindness -- will turn many of our lives upside down. And making ethical and compassionate choices, sometimes in opposition to your own desires, has to be its own reward. A professional counselor could help both of you to come to terms with this, and arrive at an action plan. DEAR AMY: What's the rule about taking guest-sized packets of shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer and those little soaps left in the bathroom of a hotel for guest use? I always thought they were there for the paying guest to use every day, or even take for future use. Is it proper to take these small packets every day and store them in one's luggage, if not using them at the hotel? This is in regards to someone's choice to remove these items every day during a weeklong stay at a hotel. -- Curious DEAR CURIOUS: I travel a lot. I use these products while I'm staying at a hotel, and then nab any unopened or unused ones to stash for future use at home or on the road. They are often great advertisements for products and hotels, and fit into the TSA liquid guidelines. Stashing these unused products every day, and then returning home with a seven-day supply of tiny bottles and soap bars seems excessive, but I don't think it is unexpected -- or wrong. If hotels wanted, they could simply charge guests for these items, the way they do for those $5 bags of M&M's that I occasionally grab from the mini-bar.
THE GREEN SHEET Q: I OFTEN FIND MYSELF in the middle of unexpected problems, especially if I am upset about a situation. I think I am making the right decisions or saying the right things and the next thing I know, my circumstances have gotten worse. How can I do a better job of anticipating the problems I might create with what I do and say? A: Think of your work life as being an opportunity to practice consequential thinking and you'll avoid a lot of problems. Consequential thinking means walking through your choices in your head before you open your mouth. For instance, if you A) let your coworker know he screwed up

boss needs and make that happen. We could then B) ask for the promotion where we could give our boss even more of what he or she needs. Conversely we could A) let our boss know that he is mean because he is not promoting us. We would then suffer from B) being demoted, fired or given even crappier projects than before. The point is that all of our work experience is like the alphabet. Each letter is linked to the next letter in a logical format. If we take the time to slow down our impulsivity or calm down our negative reactions we will be capable of accurately predicting how our actions affect our circumstances. If we open mouth, insert foot, then all sorts of negative events will unfold. I often have new clients call when their actions have gotten them into upsetting positions. In short order, my clients and I put together a consequential thinking strategy that gets them out of their current workplace hell. The critical change the client has to make is not simply acting on their first emotional reaction.Sometimes clients spend a good amount
of time arguing with me that others deserve their righteous indignation, criticism or public shaming. My client is not, at that moment, considering that what feels good for a moment will have longterm negative consequences. When we base our actions not on how we feel for a moment but on what we want for the future we have to give up our desire to be right, validated and heard. What we get in return is our future success and happiness. Ask yourself in your current workplace circumstances if you are trading off your future results to feel good today? Be willing to trade off immediate emotional satisfaction for long-term success. Be willing to give away making other people suffer to focus instead on your goals and contentment in and out of your workplace. Q: My manager is a yeller. He yells when he is excited or upset. I find this overwhelming and have tried reasoning with him to no avail. Most of my co-workers agree that this is a very stressful situation to work under. Are there any other options to get him to stop? A: Yes, vote with your feet and quietly, respectfully leave the area. Yellers find it unrewarding to yell when they have no audience. Make sure your co-workers are on the same page with you. He will soon see the error in his ways if there is no one listening to his rant.

ENCOUNTERS Little Girl Ghost Story By: stepho1375@yahoo.com
MY NAME IS STEPHANIE. I am 23 years old. My husband and I have been living in our apartment for 3 years now. We have 3 little girls. They are: Destiny, 4, Madison, 3 and June is 6 months old. Many strange things have been occurring in our apartment since I was pregnant with my baby June. The first thing is that my older daughters Destiny and Madison had to sleep in the same crib because Destiny broke hers. Well, one night my husband and I were sleeping
BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL: Hope and Liam feared for their unborn baby's health and rushed to the hospital. Showing compassion and understanding about experiencing such a scary time, Steffy offered help to Hope and Liam. The trio's vow to put their differences aside abruptly ended when Ridge announced that Forrester Creations has to pull back funding for either the Intimates collection or Hope for the Future. Determined to support Hope, Brooke expressed how upset she is that Ridge would even consider an action against Hope for the Future. When Hope revealed to Brooke that Steffy asked her to step down, Brooke believed that Steffy is giving Hope payback for marrying Liam. Blaming Thorne for Katie's decision to seek full custody of Will, Bill promised to make it a tough battle, predicting a bad outcome for Katie.

BURDEN OF TRUTH: With their case at a standstill, Joanna weighed options - none of them promising - of staying in Millwood, or returning to where she lives without a firm to go back to. Joanna considered working for another company until a series of events decided her immediate future. At the same time, despite their case being hindered, Billy continued searching for a cure for the girls. THE OUTPOST: Talon, Janzo and Garret took on tremendous risk by venturing into forbidden territory, in search of the Book of Names. As time drew short, an army was led to the Outpost gates.

looking at us. At first I thought it was my oldest daughter Destiny because whatever it was seemed to have the same tall, skinny features as my daughter. I got up to get her to

lie back down, but when I did get up I looked in the crib and both my babies were covered and fast asleep. The second incident was again in the middle of the night. My youngest daughter June was 2 months old, and I had gone to bed early. My husband stayed up late watching TV in the living room, and didn't want to wake any of us up so slept on the couch. Well, at this point we had just bought my daughter Destiny her toddler bed, and Madison still slept in her crib. I had suddenly awoke and saw what, at the time, was my daughter Destiny getting off her bed and went over to Madison's crib and was looking in there. I got up and was going to get mad at her because I didn't want her to wake up Madison. When I got to her bed I saw that she was covered and fast asleep. It freaked me out. My husband didn't believe me.

going to believe it." He said he thought he saw Destiny go into the bathroom, and went in there and no one was there. He said he was going to get mad at her because she was supposed to be asleep, and when he went in her room Destiny was fast asleep. He said, "I swear I saw a little girl go in the bathroom." Whatever it is seems to be attracted to Destiny because all the times that we have seen this thing it always is around her. We have even mistaken it for our daughter. The weirdest part is that my brother in law came to bring my nephew over to play with my daughters, and I was taking pictures of all of them. On one of the pictures there was an orb, and I had taken a picture a second before that and there was nothing there. All in all whatever it is, is seriously freaking me out.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES: John felt betrayed by Belle's actions following their tense discussion about Marlena. As John fought to save his precious Marlena, her loved ones began to say their emotional goodbyes. Following a heated argument with Hope over Sami, Rafe went against his better judgment and broke the rules to help Sami. When Hope told Ben, Ciara and Tripp that new evidence implicates Ben, he retaliated with a stunning accusation against Hope. Paul came to a horrifying realization just as Will prepared to come clean with him. Later, Paul was shattered by devastating news. Brady caught Will and Sonny sharing an intimate moment. After Kayla advised Jennifer to tell Eric the truth, Jennifer issued a harsh message to Eve. GENERAL HOSPITAL: Valentin received important updates from Curtis. After spending time with Sam, Drew became the recipient of harsh words from Kim. Kristina opened up to Sam. Wanting answers, Sonny instead became the target for a confrontation, as Carly called him out. Maxie cautioned Nina, who stubbornly remained hopeful. Maxie became confused by what soon resulted. Michael remained tormented. Doubting himself, Franco was easily unnerved. Liz grew upset with Cameron's behavior. Brad experienced mixed feelings. Julian made a call to Alexis. Chas shared his discovery.

THE ORIGINALS: On a rebroadcast, Klaus abducted Roman and brought him to Hope as a means to help his daughter cope with her pain. When Antoinette learned her brother Roman's fate, she appealed to Elijah for help. Hope was ultimately able to clear the voices in her head, but not without casualties, as good battled evil within her. Marcel took on the nightwalkers but suffered a significant blow in his battle with them. Vincent dealt with the fallout of a fateful decision. Someone close to Marcel found eternal peace. YOU: Keeping Beck's boyfriend Benjy prisoner in the bookstore basement, Joe got more information he needed about Beck by plying Benjy with drugs. Joe had a close call when Paco - his neighbor's boy whom Joe befriends with books - almost discovered the basement cell. Joe's much-anticipated first date with Beck was a minor success, followed by her invitation to Joe for a party at Peach's home. Joe felt wrath and frustration when Beck called him her friend after the event. YOUNG AND RESTLESS: Growing suspicious of Rey, Sharon warned Victoria, whose fear about Rey's motives worked her into having a panic attack. Victoria almost shared her problems with Nate but quickly closed up. Sharon was wary when Rey reached out to Nick, who appeared to be acting more like Victor every day. A distrustful Abby pressed Rey for details about his fight with Arturo. Summer's attempt to seduce Billy ended with his harsh rejection. Summer took her hurt feelings to Kyle, admitting that he won their bet and she's ready to pay.
