Mike has been joined by his wife, Heather, and his brother, Matt, to help expand and operate the business. They are very family-oriented, with Mike and Heather having four kids and enjoying Sunday family dinners with Mike’s parents.

At Street Legal Golf Carts, they work hard to balance and support their kids and their extracurricular activities while providing the best customer service possible. Mike and Heather coach their daughters’ golf and softball team, and they are also very active in many of the golf communities. They sponsor their son’s high school baseball team and have a daughter who is an Under Armour Junior Tour Regional champion.

Street Legal Golf Carts currently has two locations in Miramar Beach and Santa Rosa Beach, with a third one opening in Panama City Beach in May. They offer a wide variety of different brands of carts to choose from including Custom Club Car, Advanced EV, Kodiak EV, and Vivid EV. They are the only full custom golf cart builder in the Destin and Santa Rosa Beach area. They work closely with their customers to create a custom golf cart that meets their needs and preferences. Customers can choose from a wide range of customization options, including body colors, wheel designs, and audio systems such as Bluetooth and Carplay. They also offer a full lithium conversion service, converting outdated lead-acid battery golf carts to the latest lithium battery technology.

In addition to their custom golf cart building service, Street Legal Golf Carts also offers a range of rental options. They are the number one outfitter for golf cart rental companies, offering budget to fully customized fleet carts. They can also help vacation and investment property owners increase their rental profits by incorporating golf carts into their rental listings. Street Legal Golf Carts offers a coaching program to help property owners understand the benefits of offering golf carts to their renters and maximizing their profits.

Street Legal Golf Carts is also committed to promoting golf cart safety in the local community. They have partnered with the Walton County Sheriff’s Office to produce and disseminate the official Walton County Low Speed Vehicle Safety Video. This video educates LSV/Street Legal Golf Cart drivers and passengers about the importance of following traffic laws and staying safe while driving.
