Twenty years ago, Heather Luzansky decided to make a change and move to paradise, Destin, Florida, to be close to her twin sister, Heidi. Shortly thereafter, she completed a major goal and obtained her bachelor’s degree in business administration. Her life took a turn as she moved away for 6 years while working with small businesses and eventually with the government, living in both Las Vegas and England during these years. Heather’s career then brought her back home to the Emerald Coast with her previous spouse and two children. She continued her career with the government for another 5 years before meeting her now husband, Mike Luzansky, and taking a big step to pursue working side-by-side with him at Street Legal Golf Carts. Since last summer, she has accomplished helping her husband expand their golf cart business to two locations on the Emerald Coast and winning Best in Destin this year. She is looking forward to the coming year and hopes to establish a third location and grow the business even more.

In 2017, Mike Luzansky felt he needed a change of pace and decided moving from Los Angeles was a much-needed step forward in his life. After exploring the Emerald Coast on a cross country RV trip with his kids, he quickly discovered this was the place for his change. With a passion for traveling, tourism and customer service, Mike started renting golf carts as a side business in 2018 to diversify from his years of running E-commerce based retail companies. Two years later he started customizing his rental carts during the off season, which then led to him launching and branching out to open his dealership, Street Legal Golf Carts, as well as expanding service for its customers. Although business and entrepreneurship run through his mind most of the time, he is first and foremost a dad, husband, and son. With his wife as his partner and best friend, they have expanded to 2 locations, one being in Miramar Beach and the other in Santa Rosa Beach. He is anticipating a third location to be opening soon.

Chef Efrain Tirado, Executive Chef with Sushi by Jeff, will bring the sushi experience to your private home or event! Chef Efrain has 23 years of experience as a sushi Chef. He has traveled the world through his culinary career and looks forward to using this experience and diversity to make each private event as special and as meaningful as possible.

What sets him apart is that he has worked in many different restaurants, with many different languages, with many different menus, and many different people. He has worked as a leader, mentor, manager, trainer, consultant, and most importantly, always as a friend.

Simple pleasures and new adventures are what inspires and brings passion to Chef Efrain’s life, which can be easily seen in the presentation of his sushi.
