J. M. RICHARD CORBET RESEARCH ASSISTANTSHIPS IN RENAISSANCE STUDIES APPLICATION
These assistantships are intended to provide training and financial support to undergraduate students who have already demonstrated a commitment to Renaissance Studies. These awards are aimed at third year students; however, interested and exceptional second or fourth year students may be considered for the award. The assistantships will be held at the Centre for Reformation and Renaissance Studies, Victoria University in the University of Toronto, where the student will be given the opportunity to be involved in Centre’s academic community and projects. The Corbet Assistant will work at least one 4-hour shift at the CRRS per week, during which she or he will be responsible for basic library administration, assist library patrons, and participate in the organization of CRRS activities, particularly its events (such as workshops and conferences) and/or publications.
