These words were featured in GC Vol. #8, yet I felt as if two pages did not do them justice. With the continued battles that Hawai'i faces as a direct result of U.S. occupation, it felt necessary to revive these words yet again, but this time, paired with some pieces that evoke the 1950's glamorization of Hawaiian tourism juxtaposed with images of real Hawaii.
