Important Information about Weird Animals VBS!
Thank you for registering your child for Weird Animals VBS. We are very excited about this week. We firmly believe that this year will be our best VBS ever! We have a lot of fun and surprises planned and we are praying for God’s will to be done during this week! To be well informed, please read all of the instructions below.!

SCHEDULE! VBS is Monday through Friday 9 am to 12 pm. Please pick your child up promptly at noon each day. VBS is free but we will charge $1 per minute after 15 minutes over the! scheduled pick-up time. !
!
CLOTHING! Inappropriate attire such as tight fitted clothing, low cut tops, short shorts will not be permitted. Clothing and shoes should be comfortable and lightweight. We will go outside to play games that may include water. If your child prefers to wear a swimsuit under their clothing, they may. We will not have time or space for your child to change into their swimsuit each day so just have them wear it to VBS. Towels are not necessary. !

EMAIL! Please check your email each night of VBS. If we have anything important that we need to share with you, we will communicate it through email.!

CHECK-IN DAILY! Please do not just drop your child off; check them in each day. You will be given a parent card to bring back each day for pick up. On the back is a number that will match your child's name tag. If someone else is picking up that day make sure that they either have the card or know the number. We will contact you by phone if someone attempts to pick up your child without the proper tag or number. !

TEAM TABLES! Your child will be assigned a team color at check-in. After you have checked your child in, take them to their team table where you will find their team leader, name tag and VBS t-shirt (if ordered). Extra shirts may be available for sale at the t-shirt desk as supplies last. !

TEAMS! Please understand Group's Weird Animals VBS program recommends that we mix age groups and even split up friends. However, we ATTEMPT to pair two friends together. Friends/Siblings who have multiple requests to be paired up with, may not be placed on the same team. Once assigned, we will not change your child out of his or her team. If you keep a positive attitude, your child will quickly adjust, make new friends, and enjoy the week.!

ALLERGIES! If your child has any food allergies we ask that you fill out an allergy sticker for him/her each day.!

ATTENTION: YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND WITHOUT A COMPLETED AND SIGNED RELEASE/CONSENT FORM!

DONATIONS! Our VBS is free to those who would like to attend but costs are about $20 per child. We offset these expenses through our Children's Ministry budget and donations from parents and local businesses. If you or your company would like to help sponsor VBS, please let us know. Thank you to all who have given.!

DISCIPLINE! Please support us by encouraging your child to have a good attitude and to cooperate. We explain the rules on the first day and as the week goes on kids have so much fun, discipline issues are very few. Please do not hesitate to contact me through email or by phone in the evening, if you have any concerns during the week. If we have any discipline issues with your child that cannot be handled through warnings and loss of privileges, we will contact you.!

SUNSCREEN! Please apply sunscreen before your child leaves the house in the morning. Because of the short time at each station, we do not have time to apply sunscreen to each child. !

RAIN PLAN! Our plan is we are praying it does not rain; however, if there is heavy rain or lightning, we will have indoor games for that station.!
