The Global Sustainability Foundation (GSF) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that human beings have access to the tools, knowledge, and opportunities to empower themselves and their communities, and to build resilient societies that protect our environment, honor cultural and social diversity, and cultivate social and economic development. Through collaboration with a global GSF IS DEDICATED TO network of actors and institutions, ENSURING THAT HUMAN with a wide range of resources and a BEINGS HAVE ACCESS TO wealth of aggregated knowledge and TOOLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND information, GSF aspires to become OPPORTUNITIES TO EMPOWER a leading international resource for THEMSELVES AND THEIR sustainable development. GSF will COMMUNITIES undertake to organize and execute tangible initiatives that galvanize development under each of its “Three Pillars”: Science & Technology, Resources & Environment, and Social & Cultural.Through such a holistic approach to sustainable development, the GSF affirms the fundamental right of all people to live justly, harmoniously, and with dignity.

OUR CURRENT PROJECTS STEM EDUCATION As a founding partner of the Global STEM Alliance (GSA), which is an international initiative of more than 90 partners and 50 countries, and a collaboration of governments, corporations, educational institutions, and nongovernmental organizations working together to assure the next the generation of STEM innovators, GSF’s goal for the Scientific Innovation Committee is to increase students’ participation and engagement in STEM Education in China in the forthcoming years. GSF and the GSA has recently launched its CHINA-STEM initiative in Guizhou of China to provide STEM e-learning resources using telecommunications technology to provide education to more than 21 million children. AUSTRALIA FREE-TRADE DIALOGUE The objective of the dialogue is to encourage businesses to maximise the opportunities that will arise from the free-trade agreement. The focus will be on the Australian side of the agreement, primarily on Chinese investment in Australia and the Australian supply of goods and services to the Chinese markets.The Australian emphasis dictates that the dialogue will take place in Australia although it is assumed that there will be a complementary dialogue, which will take place in China. There will be four annual dialogues; two in Australia and two in China. Subsequent dialogues will focus on food and agriculture, biotechnology, property, tourism, financial services and education. NEXT GENERATION GSF’s Next Generation project is part of the the Social and Cultural Pillar. The focus on youth and youth development has been a growing concern worldwide, as youth makes up more than half of the world’s population. The objective of the Next Generation Committee is to become the leading resource for young people to be involved in the implementation of the SDGs for their future and of all next generations. To accomplish this, GSF aims to create a framework that enables youth to participate in the implementation of poverty eradication, clean water accessibility, sustainable and clean energy, quality education, gender equality, and quality healthcare.

OUR MISSION Through the establishment of socially responsible partnerships, GSF will, as a globally recognized source of funds and data, support the international community’s new development agenda and accelerate the global achievement of its attendant goals, while promoting sustainable practices in all aspects of life – economic, social and environmental.

OUR VISION The fundamental right of human beings to live in dignity and free of poverty, today and tomorrow, is the guiding principle of GSF. The vision of GSF is that people will be given the tools, knowledge and opportunity for personal empowerment so that they may build resilient societies in which the environment is protected, cultural values and differences are respected, and social and economic growth are enriched and fostered through harmonious coexistence with fellow human beings.

OUR WORK Everything we do, we do in collaboration with others, creating a major network of people and resources. Our collaborations include a wide range of stakeholders from governments, the private sector and academia in an environment of mutual trust and respect, joining our effort in finding shared solutions for a sustainable planet. GSF structures its resource and network of entities in the area of sustainable development in 3 pillars: Science & Technology, Resources & Environment, and Social and Cultural
