Fall into Girl Scouts

Support Girl Scouts.

Champion the next generation’s dreams.

We celebrate today's Girl Scouts as they build leadership skills and realize their bright, bold futures.

A Message from Tonya Schweitzer

It’s hard to believe summer is winding down and fall is just around the corner. A lot has happened since our last newsletter, so let me catch you up! Over 2,000 Girl Scouts made fun memories by attending 15 day camps and camporees, 10 overnight camp sessions, and 3 Troop Adventure Camp weekends. We also hosted our first-ever Free Family Fun at the Field at Lynn Family Stadium, with over 1,000 attendees! It was an absolute blast. Now that school is back in session, we’re in the thick of recruitment. We’ve participated in over 100 recruitment and community events so far, welcoming 816 new Girl Scouts for the 2025

Year.

We have some exciting events coming up this fall, like the Via Colori® Street Painting Festival and our 52nd annual Festival of the Arts. Plus, don’t miss out on the amazing programs in our new Event Guide – from cave crawling and axe throwing to crocheting and gorilla encounters, there’s something for everyone. Of course, the best part of fall is seeing Girl Scouts come together to make new friends, learn new skills, and plan new adventures.

All of this – the events, the financial assistance, camp scholarships, and so much more – is possible because of you and your incredible support. Your gifts of time, talent, and treasure mean the world to me and the Girl Scouts we serve.

Thank you,

of Kentuckiana

All money raised during this one-day fundraising campaign supports our entire council, including our Girl Scouts in Indiana.

Thank you to all who took part in this day with us!

Empowering Today’s Leaders

The Fall Product Program is one of two council-sponsored programs that combine exciting activities with money earning opportunities!

This optional program is an integral part of a Girl Scout’s journey toward leadership. They learn and develop these five skills: goal setting, decision making, people skills, business ethics, money management.

The Fall Product Program is a fun way for troops to earn funding early during the new Girl Scout troop year. Troops often use their earnings to fuel troop activities and adventures. Plus, Girl Scouts earn awesome rewards and customized patches along the way!

Everyone who wants to support Girl Scouts is sure to find gifts or treats to enjoy. If you’d like to support Girl Scouts during the Fall Product Program, please call Customer Care to be connected with a Girl Scout: 888-771-5170.The last day for online ordering is November 1.

Free Family Fun at the Field!

Wow – we had a great time on August 24 at the Free Family at the Field event at Lynn Family Stadium.

More than 1,000 kids and grownups joined our fun-filled day Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana planned and organized the event, but we invited ALL kids and local families...and they showed up!

Girl Scouts and friends had a blast with free activities like rock climbing, games, face paint, cotton candy, science experiments, exhibits and TONS more The action-packed day provided a perfect snapshot into the awareness of being a Girl Scout.

Girl Scouts proudly came together, connecting with friends and showcasing their spirit. Become a member of the Juliette Gordon Low Society and carry on her legacy by making Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana a beneficiary of your estate plans.
