Support Girl Scouts.

Champion the next generation’s dreams.

We celebrate today's Girl Scouts as they build leadership skills and realize their bright, bold futures.

From Our Girl Board Member, Justine Hester

In my 2024 Girl Scout year, I have sailed across the Land Between the Lakes, ventured through the jungles of Costa Rica, sailed a catamaran through the Pacific Ocean, mentored younger Girl Scouts, and walked the halls of Kentucky’s Capitol building.

By doing such, I have not only met lifelong friends from around the world but have been immersed in Costa Rican culture, learned basic boating techniques, and grasped the fundamentals of leadership, which I hope to use when I become a lawyer.

I have been in Girl Scouts since the beginning of elementary school and am nearing the end of my high school career. It has helped me build confidence, moneymaking skills, friendship, and leadership.

I am currently a Girl Board Member, which allows me to amplify the girls voices in my area and bring issues or comments to the Board table. Doing so feels like a great conclusion to my Girl Scouting experience.

Thank You for an Incredible Year of Making a Difference

Hooray! We’ve had another amazing year full of fun-filled adventures and life-changing experiences at Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana. From unique troop activities and events like Festival of the Arts to summer camp, local Girl Scouts made countless memories that will last for a lifetime.

As we head into the holiday season, we are filled with gratitude for the incredible support we receive from the community and generous donors Your investment helps expand the impact of Girl Scouting to even more young lives, and each dollar you give will keep Girl Scout membership and adventure accessible to girls in need of financial assistance.

Girl Scouts are our future leaders and are developing skills today that will help them make a difference in our local communities and even the world. Girl Scouting provides the opportunity for girls to talk about their feelings with supportive peers and adults in a safe space, make lifelong connections, participate in community traditions, and feel a genuine sense of belonging In this environment, girls gain the knowledge and confidence to become engaged citizens, critical thinkers, effective communicators, empowered learners, productive collaborators and strong leaders

Please consider supporting Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana through a tax-deductible gift this holiday season. Your donation will help us fulfill our mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Without generous contributions from supporters like you, we would be unable to provide girls needed financial aid, grant outdoor and camp scholarships, build meaningful programming throughout the year, and maintain our camps.

Thank you for helping us inspire future female leaders through programming designed to make ALL girls feel welcome and included.

Meet our inspiring Girl Board Members

These are high schoolers who stepped up to influence the future of Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana and the world.

Through their unique leadership role, they voice their perspectives to influence council decisions and priorities. Their experience as Girl Scouts has empowered them with confidence, skills, and community. They are perfect proof of the transformative impact that comes from being a Girl Scout.

In this short video, three of them tell you about the life-changing impact of Girl Scouts. Your gift will make these experiences possible for even more girls!

Camp is a place where girls build confidence, forge lifelong friendships, and create unforgettable memories.

Every Girl Scout should be able to make lasting memories at summer camp. Financial assistance is available to ensure the same access to outdoor opportunities for all. This commitment to providing the leadership opportunities from camp experiences is made possible by the Joyce Seymour Leadership Fund.

Create Your Legacy with a Planned Gift

The first planned gift in the Girl Scout Movement came from our founder, Juliette Gordon Low. After converting the carriage house of her home into the first Girl Scout national headquarters, she gifted the property to Girl Scouts in her will. Become a member of the Juliette Gordon Low Society and carry on her legacy by making Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana a beneficiary of your estate plans.
