2015 Cookie Season Dear Girl Scout Family, Thank you for supporting our Cookie Program. This Program is girl led and when families are involved, girls succeed. The Cookie program is open to all Girl Scouts (Daisy to Ambassadors). There are many ways you can help. Join your troop’s volunteer committee to find out how you can help your daughter’s troop, from chaperoning a cookie booth to helping at cookie deliveries. The Cookie Program is an essential way Girl Scout troops fund their activities. By participating, your Girl Scout will learn valuable business and life skills, and learn financial independence by earning the funds necessary to enjoy her Girl Scout experience. Girl Scouts set goals in order to accomplish their plans; from travel, to camping and even to fund their community service project, all financed by the money earned selling Girl Scout Cookies. The Cookie Program also ensures that we have a strong Council to support the delivery of the best Girl Scout program. It allows us to maintain eight camp properties to give all girls the opportunity to enjoy outdoor learning and adventure. It also provides the resources to deliver excellent training, both online and in person to our dedicated volunteers, and supports our members throughout the region. The Girl Scout Cookie Program plays an integral role in developing girls’ leadership skills. Take a look at some of the impact this program has on our girls. I thank you in advance for your support. Yours in Girl Scouting,
