LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors are amazing! You can help younger Girl Scouts earn a Journey, serve as a role model as you lead an event or activity, be a mentor in a camp setting, lead community service efforts, participate in exclusive mentoring opportunities, or reach for Girl Scouts’ Highest Awards.
Program Aide
Program Aides may assist younger troops, help run many council-sponsored events, and work alongside adults to assist younger Girl Scouts in making the most of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
CIT I
The CIT (Counselor in Training) 1 is a program designed to help young adults grow in themselves, learn more about camp and skills to become lifelong leaders.
CIT II
CIT II campers will have the opportunity not only to experience camp for themselves, but to learn how to create a safe, fun, inclusive experience for others!
Volunteer in Training for Teens (VIT) Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors who are interested in taking their leadership skills to the next level can earn the VIT pin.

Join Girl Scouts from all over North Carolina to learn how our state government really works and participate in the legislative process.
Adult TechnoQuest
While your Girl Scouts are participating in their TechnoQuest workshops, join us for a selection of adult programming to help you feel more comfortable with STEM Facilitation, finish a blended Adult & Child First Aid/CPR/AED course, learn about outdoor leadership, and more. PRODUCT PROGRAM
During the 2024-2025 membership year, individually registered Girl Scouts, called Juliettes, and troops will have the opportunity to participate in two council-sponsored money-earning activities. The Fall Product Program and Girl Scout Cookie Program provide Girl Scouts the chance to run their own businesses and earn proceeds for their troop or program experience.

The 2024 theme for our Fall Product program matches our Cookie Sale theme which is Embrace Possibility. The mascot for fall is the Asian Elephant. The Fall Product Program gives girls and troops the opportunity to sell magazine subscriptions (new and renewals), and very popular nuts and candies. This “friends and family sale” is conducted both face-to-face and via the internet. The Fall Product program begins October 1, 2024.
Girl Scout Cookie Program
The 2025 Girl Scout Cookie Program theme is Embrace Possibility with the Panda as the mascot. All Girl Scout troops earn proceeds for participating in the Cookie Program, which can be used to fund troop adventures such as travel, community service projects, council sponsored activities, and much more. Individual Girl Scouts earn recognitions for their sales level as well. The 2025 Cookie Program begins January 18, 2025.

The mobile program vans offer a variety of engaging mobile programs focused on STEM, financial literacy, leadership, healthy living, and outdoor skills. In STEM programs, participants can delve into robotics and space sciences. Financial Literacy programs through Cookie University teach goal setting and sales skills. Leadership programs emphasize skill development for future leaders. Healthy Living workshops cover nutrition and mental health. Outdoor programs include learning basic outdoor skills and environmental initiatives like the WOW journey and bug programs.
