SORT OF DIVANO
15
Produces some of the lightest concrete-like furniture on the market, blurring the lines between outdoor and indoor furniture. Think that’s cement? Think again. Designed by Zachary A. Uses a fibreglass blend to create furnishings that have the look of heavy stone or concrete without the heft. All products are durable & lightweight enough to be lifted by one or two people. Zachary A. creates intriguing contemporary furniture for the indoors and out. This collection is designed to appear (and endure) like sculptured concrete at a fraction of the weight.Treated for a modern rustic, weathered look, these earthy yet sophisticated home accents are an elegant juxtaposition of old and new.

bornog Sort of Divano
Inspiration Bornog was the creation of a necessity. An interior situation where one furniture unit must serve as a seating solution for two needs, a dining table on one side and a sofa on the other.
The design symbolizes the sculptures that are born form a big block of stone or rock. Similar to those that can be found in Zachary’s designs.

The seat of the Bornog is divided into five blocks for easy transportation and assembly. Three of which are alike hence less production investment. The design consists of many cylindrical holes running across the blocks for optional addition of support in the form of metal pipes or tubes. Bornog is designed for both, interior or exterior application. Materials Bornog is made up primely of the visually heavy fibrous cement. Leather headrests give it a softer edge and the wooden trims are excellent highlighters

DESIGNS WITH A DIFFERENCE All of Nola’s output is based on three simple rules: ‘always start from scratch, get to the heart of the issue and dare to be different’.
Starting at a time when colour was rarely seen among designs made for public spaces, we dared to introduce a bold palette of paints that made outdoor products stand out. When material innovation made it possible to reduce bulk without compromising strength, we streamlined our products and introduced sleeker styles. And as architects and urban planners placed ergonomics on the agenda, we introduced accessible designs that people of all ages could enjoy.

tenna The Coat Hanger
Inspiration The antennas that have invaded all rooftops of Firenze, now enter their homes in the form of a coat hanger. Inspired by the concave antennas that can be seen in the total widespread of the city, Tenna is thought out to be categorised under Transitive Design as it connects the memories of the past with the materials of the present.
26
The prime focus of Nola is outdoor furniture. Tenna is the revolution where Nola is accepted also Indoors without compromising their design values and aesthetics of the outdoor furniture designs. This is particularly well thought by the designer and has reintroduced the same materials that are generally found to be heavily weather resistant.
