About the Author April Yang is a fourth year college student. She likes reading and watching movies in her free time. Although she read many novels, this is her first time to write a novel in English. She is very glad that she got the chance to write down her ideas and combine them into a novel. This book would be her first novel, she said if she got much time, she would continue writing.

Synopsis
Mrs. Lin bore much stress of her daily life, so she decided to take a break. At that time, she luckily got two train tickets. It was a great chance to release her stress by taking a train ride from London to Edinburgh with her assistant Emily. However, a peaceful and relaxing train ride became murderous. She tries to solve problems and find the murderer out because she knows everything about the murder. 2

Let’s applaud them for their intelligence.” “If you want to win the ticket too, just come and contact us.” The host of the brainstorming competition announced.

“Mrs. Lin, that is great! We have two days off.” “Indeed, Emily! We can relax after solving the cases, and you have to inform boss that next week we have a vacation. I think he will permit since these days he is very busy at a case and needs a vacation too.” *** At that time, two men were arguing in office, which situated at the heart of London.

“You are a liar. You said you would pay me higher than the price, but look at this.” A man, who is a journalist, shouted at the liar he called. “Mr. Taylor, you have to calm down. And Mr. Taylor I think I have already given you it.” Mr. Taylor slapped the door and went out of the office with rage. *** One week later. “It is eight fifty now. The train ride to Edinburgh from London will depart in ten

minutes and arrive two days later. Hope you have a nice trip. By the way, we offer you some interesting mysteries to solve on board because most of you are winners of the brainstorming competition that we host. And the person who solves the most mysteries will be a great victor. ” The host announced “excitedly”.

At 2:10 p.m. a policeman announced that the famous detective Sherlock Holmes was also here to celebrate the successful completion of his latest

nerve-wracking case and wanted all people to welcome him.
“That’s great. I have never seen Sherlock Holmes. Maybe I can ask him how to solve a mystery.” A man said in expectation. “Yes, that’s what I thought. I heard

that he is an intelligent detective but also a freak. So many people can’t tolerate him.” The man’s friend said. Everyone at present was all waiting and desired to see what a great person will be on stage.
However, about ten seconds passed. A woman shouted” Goodness! Sherlock Holmes! He’s dead!” Then, another woman also screamed out “Oh! What a terrible thing happened.

It seemed to be impossible that Sherlock Holmes will be murdered like this. Wait! Is it a part of the mysteries that the host provide?�
“Dame, I hope it is, but it is not. Okay. Everyone, you must leave right now, and I will start the investigation. Please

leave.� Then, all people got together and were silent until the evening.
Suddenly, Mr. Taylor, the man who one week ago argued with Sherlock Holmes in the office, wanted to stop the train. He shiveringly went to the wheelhouse. When walking into the first car, he noticed that an acquaintance of his was lying on the ground.

Unsurprisingly, he was dead and surprisingly he was a policeman.
“Gosh! I have to get off as soon as possible. Maybe the next person lays here would be me.� He told himself with fear.

That night, there were two people negotiated in a stateroom.
“It’s you Leopold.”Mrs. Lin said calmly to the policeman, who wanted to welcome Sherlock Holmes. In fact, he was not a policeman but her husband. “I can’t believe you would kill people. Tell me, why did you kill my boss and the innocent policeman?”

“You are a cheater. Do you think that I don’t know the relationship between Sherlock Holmes and you? He deserved what he had coming to him. By the way, the policeman was the witness.
