Psychopedagogical Counselling

The Student Support Centre (SSC) offers a psychopedagogic counselling programme to individuals and small groups, with the aim of facilitating decisionmaking and improving academic performance: - Careers advice, in the case of crisis or doubts about the choice of degree. - Study skills. - Stress management techniques when facing examinations. Also, it provides advice on curricular adjustments necessary for students with disabilities and specific needs for educational support (SNES), as well as for gifted and talented students. This service is offered to students by appointment through an app in UACloud Virtual Campus.

In the framework of the European Higher Ed cation Area, quality education demands more active participation by students in the knowledge acquisition process, and the UA is developing different resources to help you: - Educational innovation, meaning the adaptation of curricula and teaching methodologies, the use of ICT in teachinglearning processes, the drafting of teaching guides, and the standardisation of subject information. - Improvement of the facilities and resources used for learning: libraries, reading rooms, computer and Internet rooms, classroom equipment, wireless network for the whole campus, incentives to acquire laptops. - Quest for total quality by implementing institutional assessment programmes that involve the assessment of courses, centres and services, as well as the proposal and development of improvement plans as a permanent commitment. - Generalisation of welcome and integration sessions for new students at the start of the course and the development of courses 0. - Improvement of the effectiveness of tutorials.
