WHAT IS THE TAP?

The University of Alicante’s Tutorial Action Plan (TAP) is an education initiative devoted to providing guidance and support to university students both at the beginning of their university life and throughout their stay in this institution. This Action Plan is managed by the Office of the Vice President for Quality Assurance and Educational Innovation, and it is managed, coordinated and supervised by the Education Science Institute (ESI). The Office of the Vice President for International Relations (Tutorial Action Plan-Mobility) collaborates with the programme, which has been developed by the UA Faculties and Polytechnic School.

WHO IS THE TAP AIMED AT?

TAP: aimed at first-year students at the University of Alicante. TAP-Mobility: aimed at students participating in the University of Alicante’s national and international mobility programmes.

HOW CAN I ENTER THE TAP?

All UA undergraduate students are eligible for a PAT tutor in their centres of study.

WHAT DOES THE TAP HAVE TO OFFER?

Personal guidance, academic and professional advice provided by a tutor to help you: - When you first start your university degree - Throughout your studies - Once you have completed your studies

HOW DOES THE TAP WORK?

Through thematic group activities and individual tutoring sessions with a tutor assigned, students can get advice on: - University resources - Study pathways - National and international mobility programmes - Study techniques - Language accreditation - Grants - Traineeships in centres and companies - Assessment systems - Curriculum adaptation - Career advice - Any other issues
