sauce inside these vegetable spring rolls, making the overall taste interesting and wholesome. Back to seafood, there was the Shrimp Cocktail as the final dish of the starters. The shrimps are mixed with bell pepper, olive, and thousand island sauce that provided a good balance to it. Moving on to the snack party! A board of delicious nibbles was served with three menus to enjoy. Roast Pumpkin Tart with almond, feta and honey, Quiche with Zucchini and Gruyere, so soft and mellow, while the Chicken Poppers with Jalapeno Aioli were crispy throughout. We recently tried out the wonderful Sunday Brunch at Dee Plee Restaurant by Anantara. The delightful vibe will accompany your special meal thanks to the 180-degree ocean view adjacent to the swimming pool, where you can hang out with your loved ones while enjoying the Sunday feast.
Toast Soldiers with cheese fondue was served on the table. The rich blue cheese fondue absorbed into the crunchy buttered toast gave a real indulging sense to the palate. To tone down the course, we had the Phuket Fresh Spring Rolls for the third dish. We love that they use tamarind chili

The brunch is served a la carte with a bottle of sparkling for two, and it was simply perfect! The portions of each menu, from the appetizers, starters, snacks, chef’s pizzas, grills, and desserts, are generous and the taste is on point! We were pleased with every single bite! To warm up the palate, we were served oysters with Mignonette sauce and lemon. Fresh from the sea, the oysters were very light and refreshing. The second appetizer came packed with heavier flavors; French Grilled Chicken with Garden Salad and Seabass with truffle mash. The Ribeye was cooked to perfection and well-seasoned. The delectable marinated chicken was juicy and balanced nicely with the garden salad while the seabass was also very tasty and offeed a great texture, paired with the umami truffle mash, this dish was irresistible! To complete the meal, desserts were served! The sweet Nutella Cronut and Ice Cream Sandwich served with marshmallows were the stars of the final table. Every month, our team selects for you the top 3 beaches you should visit while staying in Phuket. All of them have their pros and cons, so we try to provide a good mix between the popular ones and the less crowded ones. Mai Khao Beach: Located north of Phuket International Airport, Mai Khao Beach is a lovely beach to escape the crowds. The long stretch of sand seems to go on and on, while the soft sand and clear waters are stunning. Mai Khao Beach is almost always empty, which gives the beach a very deserted feeling, even during high season when some of the island’s other beaches are crowded. Ao Yon Beach: Ao Yon is a tiny beach located near Cape Panwa, and approximately 10km from Phuket Town. The local neighborhood is rather sleepy, which means the beach is tranquil and perfect for relaxing. The bay is usually filled with boats and yachts, so swimming here can often be challenging. However, it’s a great beach to relax with a book or watch the sunset from. Karon Beach: Located on the island’s west coast, Karon Beach stretches as far as the eye can see. It’s a favorite amongst tourists, and within close proximity to Patong. During certain times of the year, the current can be rather rough here, so always best to exercise caution before going for a swim.
WHAT TO DO WHEN A JELLYFISH STINGS YOU? Let’s face it: this is certainly something you’d prefer to avoid when enjoying a day at the beach, but the Andaman Sea contains its fair share of the translucent animal. Below is a quick recap on the symptoms one can suffer from a sting and the best way to treat someone suffering from it. Remember that you should always call for a lifeguard to assist you should you be in pain after getting out of the water.

Our first menu was a VeloutĂŠ of Wild Mushroom and Truffle, followed by a Confit Khlong Pai Duck Leg with a delicious sherbet for dessert, while our other option was the Prosciutto Ham and Local Melon Salad, Breast of Free-Range Chicken with a classic Italian Tiramisu to finish them all off. The food, both in its presentation and taste, was simply out of the world, with every bite bringing even more flavors than the last! Considering the price of THB 1,650 net per person, including the free flow of alcoholic beverages, this has to be one of the best value you can get on the island today. As the seating is limited, we would strongly recommend you to book your seat in advance, and make sure to arrive early to park your vehicle as close to the entrance as possible, though we must admit that a stroll along the beautiful Nai Harn Beach is a treat in itself. My repertoire consists of many artists, the likes of Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Mink Deville, and many more.
Where can we listen to your voice and when?
I perform at the Nai Harn Hotel five days a week as the Resident Entertainer, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Rock Salt Restaurant. On Saturdays, I perform at the Cosmo Restaurant from 12:30 noon till 3:00 pm and then again later for just one more hour at the Rock Salt Restaurant, during happy hour.
What does the future hold for you? Any upcoming plans, in Phuket or elsewhere?
No specific plans currently, I am writing and recording new original music, which I hope I will release by February 2021.
Finally, tell us one thing you absolutely love about the island, and one thing you wish could be changed or improved.
I love the weather and the temperament of the people. It’s difficult to think of something that needs to be changed.

How to use Thai adjectives? In the English language, we are used to placing the adjective(s) before the noun they affect; for example, you would say a black car, cold weather or a beautiful person. However, in the Thai language, the adjective is placed right after the word they modify the
