Profile I am a first class RIBA Part 1 Architecture graduate from The University of Edinburgh, I have 9 months experience working in residential architecture.
Experience CZWG Architects, Architectural Assistant (April-December 2014) CZWG is a prominent London practice working primarily on large scale residential developments in and around London. I worked on a variety of projects from concept design through to detailed planning. Key tasks included; preparing design and access statements, preparing a presentation for public consultation, flat planning, designing of residential amenities, and feasibility studies. Attending site visits, project team and consultants meetings also gave me a greater understanding of the wider project workings. Teambuild Competition - awarded Judges’ Prize - (February 2014) A two day collaborative competition, with students from other disciplines in the construction industry, that simulates a fast paced design and construction process for the development of a real site. This was the first student Teambuild event, and our team was awarded the judges prize. Designer/Maker Studio (Summer 2012) I spent much of the summer working with a group of craftsman in a furniture workshop, making high end whisky boxes for Macallan. Here I homed my skills of group work in a workshop environment as well as expanding my knowledge of different woodworking skills and machinery.

Other Skills and Interests I have recently returned from an architecture camp, Hello Wood’s ‘Project Village’. Here I participated in the design and building of a ‘rolling pub’ (a rolling wooden structure to facilitate drinking and socialising), as well as discussion about the future of ‘the village’. Following my most recent design project I helped curate an exhibition of our units work, as well as designing and constructing play equipment in an adventure playground for the community where our projects where based in Glasgow.
