Randy Bilodeau Jr February 14th 2022 Randy Bilodeau Jr age 54 passed away unexpectedly on February 14th, 2022. He is survived by his beloved Amber of 19 years her two children Kristy and Sam; daughter, Ashley Bilodeau; father, Randy Bilodeau Sr; mother, Carol Parsons; sisters, Beth McClung and Tara Ploof; niece, Shayla McClung; nephews, Jacob McClung and Ryan Ploof; cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Randy mostly lived in Ionia, Middlesex and Bristol, he went to Colorado for 3 years. He worked at Maco Bag in Victor with his father and he loved racing motorcycles. He moved to Tennessee in 2003 where he met Amber, they moved to Michigan to the house of their dreams in 2022. A celebration of Randy Jr life will held at a later date and time to be announced.

Bruce M. Beach February 16, 2022 Avon: At age 73, Bruce passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY. He was born in Wellsville, NY to the late Lavern and Ethel Beach. Bruce was predeceased by his brother; James Beach. Survived by his children; Ann (Glenford) Jandrew, Bruce (Tina Marie) Beach II, Catherine (Seth) Banach, his siblings; Edna (Ted) Vanson, Albert Beach, Gladys (Stephen) Luce, Cynthia Knapp, Roger (Phyllis) Beach, and his grandchildren; Samantha Vanson, Miranda (Brett) Struemer, Heather Vanson, Brandon Beach, Joseph Spring, and Anthony Spring, along with several nieces, nephews and friends. Ruth E. Traynor (Laida) February 15, 2022 Geneseo: At age 100 years Ruth passed peacefully on February 15, 2022 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY. She was born on March 16, 1921 in Skaneateles, NY to the late John and Susan (Wedarena) Laida. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband James Traynor, daughter Dianne Whitacre, grandson David Hanna, and siblings: Ann McArdell, Helen Cook, Mildred Timko, and John Laida. Survived by her daughter Donna (Alfred “Tim”) Cole Jr. of Avon; grandchildren, Daniel Hanna, James “Jaimie” (Audrey) Cole, and Jennifer (Daniel) Korpanty; 4 great-grandchildren; son-in-law Steve Whitacre, and many nieces & nephews. Ruth was the fifth child of John D. and Susan Laida, and entered this world on March 16, 1921 in Skaneateles, NY where she graduated from high school. She then studied for a short while at Geneseo State Normal (what is now SUNY Geneseo) and resided in the Geneseo area for nearly all of her life. Ruth was an avid reader and an accomplished seamstress and quilter. She loved to play Scrabble, cards, especially the game of bridge, and even played a little gin with her devoted care givers until recently. She also spent several years working with ceramics, and crafts. Her greatest joy was her family, and her presence in their lives will be sorely missed. A private memorial service will be held for immediate family on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11am at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., Livonia, NY. For all others it will be live streamed with the details provided (when determined) at the funeral home website link below. Interment will be held privately. Peter E.J. Nilsson February 22, 2022 Hemlock: At age 81, Peter passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at his home in Hemlock. He was born in Staten Island, NY to the late Edward and Gwendolyn Nilsson. Peter is predeceased by his son; Christos Nilsson and his sister; Bonnie Donnelly. Survived by his beloved wife of 60 years; Joni Nilsson, his siblings; Carolyn Nilsson, Joseph (Marrial) Nilsson, Mark (Pam) Nilsson, his 19 children, his 35 grandchildren and great grandchildren beyond measure. Peter and Joni also opened their home to hundreds of foster children over their 45-year career as foster parents. Peter was truly a Renaissance Man. He loved to garden, practice photography and carpentry, teach and discuss politics, travel, and write beautiful memoirs. He also reveled in sharing his life experiences with his grandchildren, telling stories and passing on his wisdom. Peter maintained several positions servicing communities that he loved. He chaired the UCC Board of Homeland Ministries, the ARC Board of Directors, and the Town of Livonia Zoning Board. He has remained active with Honeoye UCC.Throughout his life, Peter has been able to grab joy in every moment. His rumbling laugh would often shake the dinner table as he sat surrounded by his family, telling one dreadful pun after another. Our eye-rolls were his reward.When not otherwise engaged, Peter attended every possible soccer game in which his children and grandchildren played. Eventually he learned to be nice to the refs. Peter also managed to stay until the magical end of the “Great Comeback” of the 1992 season. Go Bills! Peter’s Memorial Service will take place at 4pm on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Honeoye United Church of Christ, 8758 Main Street in Honeoye, NY. Friends and family are invited for food and fellowship immediately following services at Honeoye UCC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Honeoye United Church of Christ, 8758 Main Street, Honeoye, NY 14471.
