Analysis of the site found areas of full sun for best food production. Water flows through the site from up hill around the house. It pools and flows over the driveway and is absorbed into the forest on the other side. The design will stop the water from flowing across the driveway and direct it out into the sunny areas of food production. Where water currently pools on the project site, a rain garden will hold water to supply the lower garden. Any overflow from the garden will spill into the ditch along the road.
