We tailor every visit to meet the needs of your school and individual pupils. All our sessions are linked to the National Curriculum and can be structured to meet your specific learning outcomes. Examples of sessions are:
Earth Walks
Explore your senses with colour palettes, smelly cocktails, sound maps and a range of other educational activities
Plants and Animals
Become nature detectives; use your investigation skills to compare contrasting environments and explore a range of plants and animals including an opportunity for some pond dipping
Green Plants
A look at the parts of a plant and a chance for everyone to become a class tree
Habitats
Investigate the diverse habitats of the Eco-park; choosing two to study, compare and contrast
Life Cycles
Look closely at the life cycles of plants and animals; examine the metamorphosis of insects, plus the pollination and seed dispersal of plants
Interdependence and Adaptation
Exploring connections in nature through the creation of a giant food web, understanding adaptation to specific habitats and an opportunity to put learning into practice in the ‘Animal Olympics’
