It’s Up Up Up . . . for sales on the Santa Barbara Coast despite the lack of inventory in all

price ranges.

Year to Date there has been almost $4 Billion in Sales Volume during the first 10 months of 2021—which is an astounding +62.3% over 2020. WOW! We are happy to report that Compass brought in over $1 Billion of these numbers and we are truly grateful to all who have trusted us to represent them! Total Properties Sold were 1,258—up +18.6% over 2020 and the Median Sales Price is a remarkable $1,897,500­—up +25% over 2020 (stats excludes condos). We included graphs to give you a true visual back to 2017. Our Market Report breaks down the numbers for all locations PLUS highlights properties that are currently available right now that we feel are good values.

Supply is not keeping up with continued demand so we are seeing fewer sales but with

over-asking price sold prices and more off market deals than ever before. All factors contributing to rising prices in every segment of our market. Work-from-home situations are more prevalent, giving people new reasons to re-evaluate where they call home. The number of people relocating from other areas continues to climb each month.
