What do you love about the Logan area?
How long have you lived there?
The community, parklands and surrounding areas. The Logan area is just convenient, it offers a lifestyle that I think a lot of people are craving with open space and a strong sense of community and is still so centrally located to Brisbane, Gold Coast and the Scenic Rim all within a 30 minute drive. Being just on the outskirts of the Scenic Rim we have some amazing places to explore on our doorstep.
I have been living in Jimboomba for five years however have had an affiliation with the Scenic Rim and adjoining areas my whole life. I was lucky enough to grow up on acreage near Mount Tamborine (Guanaba) so this lifestyle is entrenched into me.
How would you describe the region in three words? Picturesque, abundant and welcoming.

What do you like to do on a weekend? Explore and get outdoors. There is so much to do and see on the weekends. We have an amazing community who rally to support local businesses with farmers markets, events, wineries and plenty to do and see! I would recommend following @visitscenicrim on Instagram as they showcase a lot of what our area has to offer!
In regards to your job and your role in creating Halcyon Rise, can you summarise what you have done? What were you trying to create? Why is Rise so special? I’ve been lucky enough to be involved with Halcyon Rise from very early stages. My key role has been within design and delivery of our lifestyle facilities. These include the Sales Office, Walrus and Entry statement along with the facilities that are due to start construction later this year. Rise is situated on 100 acres of farming land. This gives us a unique opportunity to deliver some beautiful open space and pay homage to its history. The ‘Walrus’ and inclusion of the property’s iconic windmill at our entry was a big part of this.
