THE INSIDE STORY WHERE TO EAT AND DRINK OVERTON FARM BBQ If you’re looking for something to eat on the move then we have a variety of concessions available depending on the event, however the BBQ is open for every racemeeting and serves homemade, locally produced beef burgers from Overton Farm right here in Lanarkshire. THE CONSERVATORY CAFÉ BAR The Conservatory Café Bar looks out over the Paddock Lawns and is the ideal place for the family to relax and enjoy a range of freshly prepared food and hot and cold drinks whilst taking in the day’s events. We have a children’s soft play area for the under 4’s.

GIFT SHOP AND BOX OFFICE

DUKES, PANORAMA AND BRAVEHEART BARS The main public bars in the grandstand at the racecourse are the Dukes, Panorama Bar and the Braveheart Bar. Dukes and Panorama overlook the track and are ideal to grab a drink between taking in the live action. Braveheart Bar is situated on the paddock side of the grandstand and incorporates the on course betting shop. We also have a number of other bar facilities that are open around the course at various times.

SCOTTISH RACECOURSE CATERER OF THE YEAR

RACING UK BAR The Racing UK Bar is situated in the grandstand, near the winning post. This is the ideal bar to take in the action on the big screen or simply drop in for a quick drink between races!

From polo shirts to stress horses, pick up a souvenir from your day at the races and book ahead for your next visit from our Gift Shop and Box Office in the Conservatory Café Bar.

PARKING AT THE RACECOURSE There is free parking in the main public car park for all meetings. There is also the Dukes car park for label holders, Annual Members, Owners, Trainers and Jockeys. On busier days/evenings, there is overflow parking at Hamilton College and Caird Street.

WHAT TO WEAR TO THE RACES We do not have a dress code, although football colours are not encouraged. We like our racegoers to be happy and comfortable. On Ladies’ Night and Saints & Sinners Racenight racegoers are able to really enjoy dressing up and wear hats or fascinators if they choose. Ladies’ Night will be all about the fashion - with competitions for the best dressed lady on the evening. Although there is lots of grass around, there are also plenty of paths, so high heels are not a problem.

10

DISABLED FACILITIES Special viewing areas, parking, toilets and a lift are provided with access recommended via the Dukes entrance. We also have a portable induction loop which can be requested at the racecourse office. www.hamilton-park.co.uk
