About Me
My Philosophy Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm
Clear experiences over unpredictability
We must constantly challenge our own assumptions
When tasked with a challenge | go deep into the problem so I can understand the core problem we're trying to solve. Knowing this helps me make informed decisions and build enthusiasm for creating the best experience.
As designers, our goal is not to eliminate complexity or friction, but rather create a clear, intuitive and understandable product experience. At times, this may mean adding thoughtful complexity.
It's easy to become over-confident in our ideas and opinions. Rigorous iteration and testing can help bring clarity and confidence to the work.

Design Exploration
Understanding more about the problem space, considering potential solutions and learning about the customer.
Crafting design principles to help guide project and experience decisions, and ensure alignment amongst the team.
Diving deep into the user journey and exploring user stories, personas, channels and user decision making.
Diverging wide and exploring a range of possible solutions. Testing, iterating, discussing and working through the problem.

Handoff
Monitoring
Refining a chosen direction and polishing visual design, preparing designs for engineering handoff and documenting decisions made.
Working closely with engineering and product to ensure a successful handoff and implementation process.
Just because a project is live doesn't mean the work is done. We monitor its performance to discover ideas for improvement.
CHAPTER TWO
The Work
CASE STUDY #1
ReFi Platform : Lightency (2022) Lightency is a web3 energy marketplace. It gives you the opportunity to participate in globalising renewable energy adoption while earning attractive passive income.
MY ROLE
Lead Designer
THE PROBLEM
Poor monetisation of the surplus of green energy production. Low yield generated by green energy projects
THE GOALS
Use Powerchain* to allow energy trading and certification. Energy Developers
Energy Distributors
Investors
Raise funds to develop energy projects.
Increase energy monetisation.
Earn attractive passive income.
Scale existing energy projects
Increase energy efficiency.
Invest starting from 10$.
Powerchain is Lightency P2P Management System.
RESEARCH
Lightency Token Model
Every pool of liquidity is governed by a dedicated DAO. Participators can be Council members or community.
Lightency's main liquidity contracts. Its role is to support Lightency development. It decides what energy projects to invest in.
Its role is to mint and burn Light tokens when a user calls the functions buy or sell. It converts the received assets to stable coins before minting new Light tokens. Maintains Light token price.
Energy investors invests in Green energy projects here. they swap their assets ( Crypto/fiat ) to Light tokens and become part of Lightency DAO members.
RESEARCH
Value Proposition Powerchain enables green energy certification and selling excess of electricity to other peers, thus providing a new revenue stream to prosumers and a cost effective electricity.
Grid stability Reduce energy waste Maximise monetisation Increase Energy efficiency Increase number of prosumers New revenue stream for producers

Design Principles Educating
Transparency builds trust
Empowering user to pay
We need to ensure that education is done in a timely and effective manner.
It's imperative that we are empathic and understanding of our users
Users need to be confident on how and when to pay. Payment options should be convenient and informative.
Users should have very clear expectations around how arrears work and what the consequences will be.
It's our responsibility to be clear and transparent about their balance situation and how their balance is calculated
We should reassure users when their payment has been received and update their balance accondingly
RESEARCH
Arrears Journey The experience of paying arrears begins with learning that having a negative balance is part of the user journey in Lightency. Throughout the Journey we educate users about arrears and bring awareness towards their balance. We also provide tools to top up their balance and avoid getting actioned. Our key strategy is to encourage users to return to a profitable balance and ensure users don't go too negative and can't afford to pay
RESEARCH
Key Solution Elements
Trigger Threshold
Due Date
Grace Period
Minimum Amount Due
Defines the balance below which a collection request would be sent to the user
the date and time by which the partner must pay lightency
Accomodates lag between payment and time taken to reflect in the partner's account.
While we provide the flexibility to our partners to define the amount they choose to pay, it would be subject to a minimum amount due to processing costs.

Discovering "Flash Informations" We noticed in many user testing sessions that Investors doesn't have enough informations about what they are actually working with. So I created a new Dashboard Interface where he can access to some flash information insights to enhance his workflow.
FINAL DESIGN
Flexible Payments Adding Friction
Start Over
Ensuring that the users understand what's being asked of
At any time, users should be able to view & claim the existing
them and how to make the paymeng successfully
vesting and create new one for payment. This is useful in the case where their budget changed.

CASE STUDY #2
Blockchain Incubator : Decentralize Impact (2022) Decentralize Impact is a blockchain innovation program for empowering next innovations of the blockchain ecosystem, through community-driven governance, feedback and involvement mechanisms. MY ROLE
Lead Designer ( UI/UX Designer )
THE OPPORTUNITY
Poor monetisation of the surplus of green energy production. Low yield generated by green energy projects
THE GOALS
Zero reliance on corporate entities and states, the community decides (DAO). Decentralize
Innovation
Organisations
The program uses a decentralized approach and introduces new tools to the local community.
Incentivize entrepreneurs to create innovative solutions using blockchain
The community is involved in all aspects of the program, from feedback to voting
RESEARCH
PROGRAM PHASES Provide Guidance
Give Flexibility
Build Confidence
Provide guidane for complex processes and ideas. Opportunities include guidance via recommended budgets, benchmark, documentations and tooltips.
Allow customizations and flexibility to accomodate the diverse needs of the different type of profiles ( Instructors, Experts..)
Build confidence by showing value and power of the platform. Opt for value adds to owners at all parts of the platform
Be an Proposer
Be Transparent
Keep it Simple
Be a proposer or advocate for the projects. Do not exploit users by putting baseline features behind paywall.
Communicate clearly and truthfully to Proposers, Experts, Advocate. Be transparent about how the product works and ROI.
Optimize for easy understanding of complex ideas rather than blindly following digital advertising conventions.
RESEARCH
Proposed Solution Investing in the future and working towards reshaping the classical model of governance, Decentralize Impact is built to empower community dynamics through mechanisms of active listening and decision taking.

The Final Pitch
THE FINAL PITCH
What sets me apart I care about the endto-end experience
My global footprint helps me build empathy
I'm committed and able to think in the long term
I think about the whole journey. You'll often find me conversing with other disciplines to uncover opportunities or strategic initiatives.
Having created designs in three continents and designed for emerging markets, my global footprint helps me build empathy and craft relevant market experiences.
Creating durable, sustainable solutions often requires thinking in the long term and betting on many unknown paths. This perspective helps inform my decision making.
