Retail interior- Fashion retail By Hannah Hartwell

Comme des Garçons This building interests me as the gold areas stand out drawing peoples attention. And due to the placement of the shelving it makes people want to walk around and see what is round the next corner increasing chances in sales Large tunnel fills up space

The large tunnel fills up the space and separates two spaces making people want to walk around it to look at the other side Rough floor plan

Recycled materials to create display Display shows the athletic clothes in action

Bright gold catches peoples eye

This area in the middle of the floor is very unique as it is used as a storage space on the inside which is unusual and is a bright gold to capture peoples attention

Marni shop interior design in Barcelona I decided to draw this shop as it has some very interesting features like: • The curved clothes rail going across the wall • The shelving sunk back into the wall giving a larger floor space to walk around on

Having the sunken back shelves glowing attracts more people to the increasing the chances of sales

Hiroshi Senju Museum Karuizawa Seating is strategically placed to make people want to sit down and spend more time at the museum.

This museum interests me as it is very environmentally friendly as it incorporates lots of trees. Having the trees means it needs lots of daylight to enter the space making it feel more airy and open. Having these areas with trees blocks of areas making people want to walk around the and look at every thing.

Area in middle Allows lots of light into the space

The art is placed in a to block the next piece so forcing people to walk around in order to see everything

Plan view of entire site including car park

Hongkun museum of fine arts I chose this museum as it incorporates curves through out the building making it flow. It is important to make the interior flow as then people are more likely to walk through the whole building.

There are Lots of open spaces allowing people to walk around.

The walls being white give the space a light and airy feel

National museum of Qatar

This museum interests me as it combines natural materials like wood with materials like concrete. The structures inside the museum are specifically placed in areas to block peoples view causing them to have to walk around to be able to see everything.

All the shelving allows the museum to show of all there items for sale in a way that looks presentable and neat, which catches peoples eyes. Most of the structure are formed from curved lines instead of straight lines as they are more natural like the wood it is built from.
