NaJuWo2012 Info Pack

NaJuWo2012 Info Pack In two weeks we are already sitting together, having a great time. We publish this Info Pack so that all of you are well-prepared, know what to bring and prepare and hopefully have all questions answered. Otherwise contact us asap at najuwo@de.cisv.org. Address: CISV House Sarenweg 12-14 Hamburg, Germany Travel Arrangements Please tell us (najuwo@de.cisv.org) as soon as possible at what time you will arrive at the local train station (S-Bahnhof) Poppenbüttel. If you do not know how long it takes from Hamburg central station to Poppenbüttel, add 45min. and from the airport to Poppenbüttel 30min. If you come to the campsite by car or something similar please do tell us as well so we are not waiting for an answer. This part is to inform you how to get to our campsite and what to do. Therefore please read it very carefully. By Train: Travel to Hamburg (Hauptbahnhof/central station). Then you take the subway S1, the green line, heading to ‘Poppenbüttel’ (please get into one of the last 3 cars otherwise you will not reach your destination). You get off at the final stop which is “Poppenbüttel”. At the train station you will take the bus number 174 heading to Volksdorf. You will get out of the bus at “Bergstedt Markt” (approx. 10minutes drive). It is very easy to see the buses. At the time you enter the bus, you have to write a text message to Bente (+49 152 5335 9909) telling her with how many people you are now in the bus. Then we will pick you up at the bus station Bergstedt Markt. By Plane: Most convenient for arrivals through the air is flying to Hamburg Airport (Code: HAM). There you go to the train station and take the subway S1 to Ohlsdorf, which is only one stop. In Ohlsdorf you get off the subway and enter the train that is departing just opposite yours on the same platform. It is heading to “Poppenbüttel”. Make sure you get into one of the last 3 cars because otherwise you will not reach your destination. You get off at the final stop which is “Poppenbüttel”. At the train station you will take the bus number 174 heading to Volksdorf. You will get out of the bus at “Bergstedt Markt” (approx. 10minutes drive). It is very easy to see the buses. By Car/Bike/Foot: Check out the address of the house (Sarenweg 12-14, 22397 Hamburg). Don’t worry, getting to the campsite sounds more complicated than it actually is.
