Morgan Hansen

Growing up in a small, rural community, I learned to love libraries at an early age. This love led me to pursue a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Library Science as well as a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science (the latter of which I just completed in May). In addition to this formal training, I have also had a variety of on-the-job experiences including cataloging, children's reference, technology management, website development and library administration. As evidence of the variety of knowledge and experience I possess, this portfolio contains artifacts from my current positions at Illinois Service Resource Center and Waukegan Public Library as well as my Masters Degree coursework. This portfolio demonstrates that I am highly qualified for a management position in a public library.
