Editor’s Notes

The month of March is said to come in like a lion and go out like a lamb. In much of North America and Europe that may be true. But sunny beaches and ice-cold beer await those who venture to the Philippines, Mexico or Cambodia over the next few months. March in the Philippines Is it really more fun in the Philippines, as touted by the Philippine Department of Tourism? This month could be your opportunity to confirm or dispute this presumptuous claim. A major event for hashers across the region and visitors from around the world takes place 1821 March in the hills, valleys and bars around notorious Angeles City. Hike to the spectacular summit of Mount Arayat on Wednesday, and run down Field’s Avenue in a red dress on Saturday. Your week will be anything but boring. If you don’t have to fly out on Sunday, meet at Margarita Station for the infamous Angeles City Hash on 22 March.

For hashers with more time to spend in the Pearl of the Orient Seas, join the Subic Bay Hash and Bimbo’s Birthday Bash at Treasure Island on Monday, the 24th of March. Hook up with the herd heading to Puerto Galera for Wild Wolf’s Hash Bash 26-29 March, and stay another week for Puerto Galera’s 1300th Celebration and famed Verde Island Run on Easter Saturday, April 4th. April in Mexico What do the Phoenix H3, Tucson’s jHavelina H3, and the El Paso H3 have in common? If you guessed ROCKY POINT you would not be wrong. Every April these three kennels flee the scorching asphalt and scenic panoramas of urban Texas and Arizona for dusty donkey trails and the sparkling seascapes of Rocky Point, Mexico. The Ice-cold Coronas at the beach bar are just what the doctor ordered for some serious attitude adjustment. Ole’! May in Cambodia Cambodia Nash Hash will take place 14-17 May, hosted by the Phnom Penh “Danger Hash”. But why go for a week when you can spend a month hashing all over the Kingdom? Visit the largest temple complex in the world when you run with the Angkor H3 in Siem Reap. Few travelers have ever heard of Stung Treng, or the Stung Treng Evergreen H3…but you can read all about it in this month’s edition of Harrier Magazine. Our sincere appreciation goes out to our subscribers, contributors, and advertisers who help make Harrier Magazine possible. Your contributions help Harrier Magazine bring a glimpse of hashing to readers around the world each month. I hope to see you on trail soon. Phoenix Red Dress 2015 by Donkey Dildo Delight http://www.phoenixhhh.com

J

oin us for another amazing weekend of hashing, drinking and partying by the pool. We will again be taking over 2 whole (private) sections of the Hospitality Suites in sunny Scottsdale, AZ (8 minutes from the airport). Red Dress trail this year will pass through downtown Tempe and should feature some nice views of the city. Most food will be included in the rego price, and road whores (out of towners) will be able to enjoy the low $59 rate until the beginning of April. Come see the awesome Phoenix hashers. Kegs are tapped at noon on Friday. We’ll see you there. Phoenix RDR is one of the largest and wildest hash parties in the U.S. It’s three days of hashing, pool parties, dancing and flowing alcohol in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona. Prepare for hashing, drunkenness and debauchery with the seriously awesome Phoenix Hashers. Currently, we are estimating 400 hashers from around the country and at least 35 kegs of beer for the weekend.

Registration is now open. CLICK HERE 10 Harrier

tung Treng Evergreen H3 (STEH3) is providing an opportunity to visit Stung Treng and see a remote part of Cambodia on 18 to 23 May as a postlube to Cambodia Nash Hash. Stung Treng is in northeast Cambodia located at the confluence of the Tonle Sekong and Mekong rivers not far from the Laos border.

Rocky Point Rocks! 24-26 April 2015

by MFT and Bolivia Newt & John, jHavelina H3

T

he Rocky Point event in Puerto Penasco, Mexico is an annual Tri-city Hash traditionally held the last week of April, with Tucson jHavelina H3, Phoenix H3 and El Paso H3 each hosting a day of the 3-day weekend. The fun begins on Friday night with Phoenix haring the pay-as-u-go Pub Crawl that will take you through a maze of great bars and maybe a strip joint. As everyone who’s been to Rocky Point knows, the bars are endless providing plenty of places to party and let loose. Drink up but don’t overdo it because Saturday afternoon the Tucson jHavelinas will lead you on one of the best Hashes you have ever been on through the town of RP. Our favorites are the local beach bars where you are

T

he Polar Circle Polar Bear Challenge (a half marathon on the Saturday followed by a marathon on the Sunday) in Greenland was the most difficult and challenging adventure run I have ever undertaken. In early 2014, while scrolling through various half marathon travelling tours on the Travelling Fit website, I came across trip information on the Polar Circle Half Marathon. Living in sunny Cooktown in Far North Queensland at the time, I thought it would be great fun and a real adventure – little did I know!
