Welcome to the Harrogate Music Festival 2017 Who do you think you are? Genealogy connects us to family long gone; their lives revealing universal truths that in some way, make us who we are. 2017’s Festival theme is Generations. Music is a universal language that crosses time and space, from one generation to the next. It connects us to the human experience. A piece of music written hundreds of years ago can reveal its beauty stretching across the centuries. It can grab you from the inside. Our programme is designed to celebrate music passed down, honoured or reinvented through the generations, and our Young Musicians Series provides a platform for the next generation of performers. Unlock the Summer with Harrogate International Festivals – the home of festivals.
