Our summer season is packed with a brilliant programme of events !
Tickets are selling fast, indeed the new season witnessed The Rest is Politics selling out within one day and Tim Vine sold out almost as quickly. To be the first to know about new shows going on sale you can sign up to our mailing list or become a Member for priority booking.
For young people we have First Three Drops by Taking Flight, a magical adventure story in English, British Sign Language and Sign Supported English. Also Joss Arnott Dance presents a new retelling of a classic story, seen through the rusty eyes of the Tin Man. A big shout out for our wonderful community shows which include Chitty Chitty Bang Bang performed by HOPS Musical Theatre Company and The Cripple of Inishmaan delivered by Harrogate Dramatic Society.
Other drama includes The Chosen Haram, which is a unique and intriguing examination of circus and Fan Boy, a love-hate letter to pop culture and nostalgia. Our musical offerings this summer see a return for Steve Harley, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac and Kate Rusby and the ever popular ‘Evenings With’ welcome Ben Fogle, Marti Pellow and Keith Brymer Jones to Harrogate.

Daniele is in Italy and Natalie is on stage in Harrogate. But despite being 908 miles apart by foot, the two of them have found a way to perform together live, in a show about loss and being alone, but that's ultimately full of hope.

Anthony Missen’s (Co-Artistic Director, Company Chameleon) new work captures the raw physicality of the dancers brought to life on stage through their virtuosity and strength as performers. Artistic Director, Joss Arnott, completes the bill with a new work for the full company celebrating the interplay between movement and music, individuality and states of euphoria, all of which is accompanied by an electrifying new percussive musical score by composer James Keane.

Harrogate Youth Theatre is the home of young people’s creativity. We’re a space where young people can be themselves and let their imaginations run free. Where they can invent fantastical stories and characters and perform them with new-found friends. Above all, it’s a space to have fun.

HARROGATE THEATRE MAIN AUDITORIUM
Harrogate Theatre is home to drama, music, comedy and dance. Built in 1900, Harrogate Theatre is a typical example of a late Victorian proscenium arch venue built over five floors. The Main Auditorium has level access from Cheltenham Parade.
ROYAL HALL
The Royal Hall is a 950-seat Grade II* listed Edwardian performance hall and theatre located just on the outskirts of Harrogate Town Centre. The building is accessible via a lift for wheelchair users.
HARROGATE LIBRARY
Harrogate Library on Victoria Avenue is one of our accessible venues, with a calm, intimate atmosphere, perfect for smaller and solo performances. The library has a ramp and automatic doors at the entrance. There is lift access to all levels of the building and all public areas are accessible to wheelchair users.
WESLEY CENTRE
Situated in the old chapel, the Wesley Centre affords an open space with fantastic height that seats up to 200 people. The mixture of floor seating and pews offers a great view for audiences and the space has fantastic acoustics. There is step free access, an accessible toilet and baby change facilities.
HARROGATE STUDIO THEATRE
Harrogate Studio Theatre is an intimate 60-seat performance space situated on the third floor at the top of Harrogate Theatre. The Studio is a versatile space with unique, thought-provoking, and memorable shows. Please note, the Studio is only accessible by three flights of stairs.
