Eastwind Profit Driver Eastwind Profit Driver is a new comprehensive solution designed to automate personal communications and work with the person on different stages of the life cycle to increase the income of the service provider. The platform allows you to automate the process of making decisions about which actions and channels are optimal for communication with groups of subscribers selected on the basis of targeting. Such a solution helps operators in solving key business challenges as a complex: increase ARPU (by encouraging subscribers to actively use the services of the operator, or to not reduce the activity of using the operator’s services when service provision terms change (for example, if there’s an increase in tariffs); maintain subscriber loyalty (by encouraging subscribers with bonuses, benefits and gifts under certain conditions, such as on increased consumption of operator services); identify people who are prone to leave for another service provider and to take preventive measures to retain customers valuable for the company; stimulate the operator’s subscribers to purchase a second/third SIM-card (for example, for children or for special hardware – a modem, alarm systems, CCTV and so on); attract customers of other operators (primarily friends of “own” subscribers). Areas of application for solution Eastwind Profit Driver: 1. Event-based marketing. Creating and sending proposals (including customized) to increase ARPU / maintain loyalty / reduce churn / attract new customers on the basis of: offline data analysis system (allows you to maximize the positive response to the proposal due to deep targeting); online & near real time data analysis system (allows to achieve a high response % due to high relevancy of offers at the right time - as close as possible to the online- mode). 2. Marketing and advertising campaigns. The system creates a campaign that has a goal, and then on the basis of multivariate analysis the subscriber base is formed by the target segment, which largely meets the objectives of the campaign. 3. Churn management: analysis of causes and trends of churn, identification of the degree of subscriber’s importance to the operator and evaluation of subscriber’s commercial potential, as well as recommendations for the operator regarding what action would be optimal for a particular subscriber.
Eastwind Interactive Voice Response The central element on which all call processing functions are centered is the Call Processing Scheme (CPS) which describes the algorithms for processing. With this program you can set up interactive voice response (IVR) and organize the routing of calls to a variety of applications. To interact with external systems, Eastwind IVR provides a mechanism for integration, allowing you to transfer call data and receive additional information about the subscriber. Information received from external applications can be used for routing the call and for generating voice messages to the subscriber. Integration mechanism has open interfaces that allow operator to integrate their systems with Eastwind IVR or engage any of the third-party integrators.
Eastwind Mobile Assistant An innovative self-service system based on a mobile application that works on all popular mobile operating systems: Android, iOS, Windows Phone. By using this service, customers can, in the most accessible and intuitive graphical form of a mobile app, manage rates and services, listen to voice mail, find the nearest office of the operator and more. In addition, Android device owners can use the service to set up the balance screen widget and always know their balance in real time. The service will help the operator to effectively promote their services to subscribers by sending promotional messages directly to the application.

Messaging solutions We present a new vision of the classic platform to exchange text and multimedia messaging, with which you will be able to offer to subscribers attractive personalized services that enable them to communicate with family and friends anytime, anywhere.
Eastwind SMS Center (EW SMSC) Eastwind SMS Center 5.0 is the new center of short messaging in GSM/CDMA/UMTS mobile networks and multi-standard networks. The new SMS center is updated with new features and tools to improve the experience of using the product, increase customer loyalty, enlarge ARPU and compensate the slowing growth of SMS traffic incomes in the total income structure. On the basis of EW SMSC 5.0, the operator can provide users with more than 25 additional VAS- services. Eastwind SMS Center integrates with service applications and thirdparty SMS-centers via Eastwind SMPP Framework, which significantly reduced the load upon the main SMS center and optimizes interaction with content providers and third-party networks. The modular architecture and inherent scalability of EW SMSC can provide high performance – over 7500 SMS per second.
Eastwind MMS Center Eastwind MMS Center allows the operator to provide subscribers with a multimedia messaging service. The system is fully consistent with modern communication standards (3GPP/3GPP2, OMA, WAP Forum, IETF) and has broad functionality: sending and delivering messages from e-mail and web-resources, addressing, routing and forwarding messages via various scenarios and conditions, adaptating, transcoding and storing messages, alerting and notifying subscribers, charging for MMS-messages.
Eastwind USSD Navigator All the benefits of USSD technology are incorporated in the new solution – Eastwind USSD Navigator. On the basis of it, the operator can create a full interactive user portal, the most convenient way of managing services and profiles for subscribers, as well as providing access to the needed information and entertainment. The operator will be able to increase sales of value added services and paid content, including sales through new channels – adding an interactive menu with choice of services and content in replying USSDbased messages with rotation and targeting. Costs are optimized by reducing the load on voice channels of service subscribers and by using Sigtran protocol for interfacing with the switching equipment. Eastwind Interactive Toolbar Eastwind Interactive Toolbar is an interactive platform designed to show graphic or textual elements (banners, menus, links) on subscriber’s mobile device and store data about network activity of users and the parameters of their web-queries for further analysis and targeting. Eastwind Interactive Toolbar allows the operator to multiply the value of and income from providing users with different features of the access channel to the Internet through the use of options: advertising on the web (advertising content in browser window in the form of text, banners, audio, video); access to network resources (links in the browser for transition to the Web sites or site features: search, social networking, application stores, online shopping, etc.); access to operator resources (links in the browser to go to the operator’s site, news, information about tariff plans and other); additional self-service channel (access to self-service, contact center, billing services, mobile commerce); notifications (information about balance, incoming e-mail messages, social network messages); data source for analysis systems (accumulation and transmission of data for analysis and targeting by parameters of user web activity); transport channel for web ads in mobile advertising platforms.
Eastwind Mobile Contact Eastwind Mobile Contact is a platform providing subscribers with new options to manage mobile contacts and synchronize phonebook due to to the integration of a mobile phone with the web-server. Eastwind Mobile Contact allows creating a copy of the user phone book on the operator’s server, providing secure data storage and convenient management. By activating the service, the subscriber receives new options to work with the phone book and contacts on the Web, additional features for call details and services received in the context of contacts, new of service customization with reference to the contacts. When integrated with the billing system, subscribers will be able to obtain statistical data about the contacts of the phone book, information about tariff plans and access to other service functions.
Eastwind Call Register The platform Eastwind Call Register is a separate solution based on which the operator can provide subscribers with classic services – subscriber notification about missed voice and video calls when the phone was busy, switched off, out of the network coverage or the user failed to answer. Eastwind Call Register also enables the operator to provide subscribers with additional services: Inform subscribers about missed phone calls. If a call comes in situations when the phone was busy, the caller was not available or did not answer the call, it is redirected to a dedicated number and call information is stored in the system database. Based on it, an SMS-message is generated and transmitted to the owner of the phone about missed calls. Inform subscribers who tried to reach the contact that the target has appeared in the coverage area. In case of an unsuccessful attempt to make a call, the system stores the information about

it, and when a user is back on the network, the system generates an SMS message which goes to the subscriber who has tried to call with information that the target is available again. SMS answering machine. If there is no user on the network, subscribers trying to reach him receive an SMS-message pre-formed by the subscriber. It can specify not only service information, but the information that the user himself has entered for the contacts. Inform customers about the impossibility to reach them due to lack of funds on the caller’s balance (the service “Low Balance Call Notification”). In case of an unsuccessful attempt to make an important outgoing call in low funds on the balance, an automatic SMS is sent to the target user. Example SMS text – “This user cannot reach you due to low balance”.
Eastwind Number Change Notification The service based on Eastwind Number Change Notification is designed for operator’s subscribers who change their phone number. By using this service, the subscriber coming from another network or changing the number will always be available to communicate: he will receive notification about calls to the old number and be able to call back, automatically informing callers about the changes via SMS and voice notification.
Eastwind Call Guard The Eastwind Call Guard platform allows subscribers of operators working in GSM/UMTS standards to create black/white lists of numbers to restrict outgoing and incoming calls to/from certain numbers. By activating this service, users can monitor outgoing local, long distance and international calls pre-filled in the appropriate list and set flexible rules for processing of all incoming calls. The solution allows the service subscriber to create lists via different ways – through the Web-based interface, SMS and USSD-messages.
Eastwind Mobile Dictaphone The solution Eastwind Mobile Dictaphone allows the service user to record their own telephone calls (outgoing calls), save them on operator’s server and access stored data via Web, IVR, MMS or email. The service may be provided to subscribers in two versions. In the option “Service – no subscription”, the service is provided as a basic network service that does not require activation and is available by default to all network users. In the option “Service – with subscription”, the service is provided after subscribing to it.
Eastwind Voice SMS The system Eastwind Voice SMS allows subscribers to exchange voice messages, regardless of whether the subscriber is available or not, and regardless of whether the target is subscribed to the service or not. This service can compete with SMS and be used for informing, communicating, reminding, congratulating, and for entertainment purposes. The platform supports the following types of messages: subscriber-recorded voice messages; anonymous voice messages; hidden voice messages; voice content provided by third-party content providers.
Eastwind SM Greeting The solution Eastwind SM Greeting allows the operator to automatically use SMS messages to provide help information on tariffs, dialing rules, network services to subscribers in roaming. Based on the system, the operator can implement two services: Welcome SMS and Bon Voyage. The Welcome SMS service is available to guest subscribers who come to roaming in the operator’s home network and upon registration receive messages with useful information. The Bon Voyage service can be activated by the operator’s own subscribers leaving for roaming to other networks. Upon their registration in outside networks, the operator can send to them information about the details of communication services in different countries.
Eastwind DigiTel The Eastwind DigiTel system is designed to provide voice and fax mail. Eastwind DigiTel is a multi-channel answering machine that can record, store, reproduce voice and fax messages, and notify the subscriber of their reception. In addition to the traditional services of an answering machine, the operator can provide additional services based on Eastwind DigiTel: forwarding of calls and faxes to line phones, voice bulletin board, mass reception of voice messages from clients, voice secretary, mobile voice recorder, virtual fax, and more.

Eastwind Virtual Number Eastwind Virtual Number allows the Operator to provide home and guest service subscribers with an option to bind multiple virtual numbers to a SIM-card with the ability to quickly and easily switch between them. The service “Virtual Number” by Eastwind implements such features as: incoming and outgoing calls and SMS to/from main and virtual numbers; activation of virtual numbers by SMS/USSD-request or a mobile application; schedule (hours, days, weeks) for automatic activation of virtual numbers; e-mail notifications about incoming SMS to the main or virtual number.
Eastwind MultiSIM The Eastwind MultiSIM platform allows mobile subscribers to always remain accessible with multiple numbers or modern gadgets. The subscriber does not need to think about which number to give to friends and acquaintances, he can receive calls to one number regardless of what number is active or what device the subscriber uses at the time of an incoming call. This service allows the subscriber to: create a list of numbers of their mobile devices via a Web-based interface, SMS or USSD; make and receive calls and SMS on any of the numbers registered in the system; define scripts for handling incoming calls; view the history of past activities through SMS, USSD or Web-based interface.

Eastwind Mobile Coin Eastwind Mobile Coin is a cloud-based service mobile commerce service that allows the operator to quickly deploy a service of payments for goods and services from subscribers’ personal accounts. 2009 New implementations Eastwind Billing System is installed in 11 branches of the operator SkyLink which is operating throughout the whole Russia.
2010 Eastwind on CIS markets Development of cooperation with the national operator of Turkmenistan Altyn Asyr.
2011 Partnership A partnership agreement is signed with the Canadian company Sandvine, the leading provider of intelligent network solutions for broadband operators to provide network policy control solutions.
2012 Certification Eastwind Billing System successfully passes certification tests. The new certificate confirms compliance of billing by Eastwind with acting standards and the capability for automating billing in telecom networks up to 10 million subscribers.

A new development in the field of mobile commerce: Eastwind Mobile Coin - a platform that allows a service provider to offer mobile payments from personal accounts and capitalize on each payment.

Within a social project to bring telephony to far regions of the country, Eastwind installs Eastwind Billing System in the network of the national provider of Tajikistan, Tajikmobile.
