At the heart of a Waldorf education is the idea of learning through making and learning through movement. The art room and the auditorium, therefore, become the anchor point for the school and the rest of the program is organized around them. The concept of spiral learning is also important here, the process of learning, forgetting and then remembering.

Bo Bardi Glass House

Lina Bo Bardi
Jessica Hartwig M.ARCH This house exists in three phases: newly built, lived in, and as a museum. The newly built house is modern and crisp sitting in a cleared landscape. The house is lived in and collects things and as the trees return it becomes cluttered. As a museum the interior is once again minimal and the forest is overgrown.
