Our purpose is to prepare and inspire students to become independent, adventurous thinkers and engaged, compassionate citizens in courageous pursuit of knowledge and truth.
The Harvey Fund supports our school’s highest priorities, including academic excellence, faculty development, financial aid, experiential learning, and more. It allows the school to act on unique opportunities as they arise, opportunities that are not covered by tuition alone. Your contributions make every day extraordinary and sustain the hallmarks of a Harvey education — small class sizes, exceptional faculty, and programs that empower our students to
achieve their full potential.
WHY DO YOU SUPPORT HARVEY?
It’s important to our family that we “pay it forward,” so other families and students can have the same education, experience, and opportunities that we were provided. Harvey is more than a school, it’s a family, and our whole family feels a strong commitment to aiding the next generation of Harvey students and families.
FINANCIAL AID
With your help, we can ensure that a Harvey education remains accessible to all students regardless of their financial circumstances.
Currently, 36% of our student body receives financial aid, totaling around $3.7 million in tuition reduction. By supporting the Harvey Fund, you help us continue offering generous financial assistance while providing exceptional learning opportunities.

THE HUMANITIES
At Harvey, small class sizes and dedicated educators ensure that students are able to find their voice and learn to use it on their educational journey.
We are proud of our many innovative programs — from our annual speech and poetry recitation contests to our unique Japanese language program in partnership with the Keio Academy of New York — and continue to develop new opportunities for our students. Recent additions include the Middle School Capstone, which emphasizes service and leadership, and the 9th grade Common Ground program, which encourages students to experience, question, and create through a nature-centered interdisciplinary curriculum.
WHY DO YOU SUPPORT HARVEY?
Harvey was here before us and will be here long after our son, Sullivan, graduates. It is vital to support that continuity and help its mission to create infinite possibilities for students to reach their highest potential. DESCRIBE HARVEY IN 1 WORD

THE ARTS
Harvey’s
diverse arts program allows students
the freedom and opportunity to
express themselves creatively.
We believe that the arts are an essential element of education, just like reading, writing, and math, allowing students to develop a cultural literacy that fosters imagination, creativity, and the ability to solve complex problems. At Harvey, students have the opportunity to perform in one of our 11 annual productions and performances or explore disciplines such as ceramics, graphic design, media production, photography, or dance in the extraordinary Walker Center for the Arts.
WHY DO YOU SUPPORT HARVEY?
Harvey has been part of our family’s story for a long time. This school helped me become the best version of myself, and in turn helped our son, Joseph, find his strengths and equipped him with the skills and habits necessary for college and beyond.
