DEVELOPMENT PLANS

• JV considering options for the WQS.

• There is now more clarity on the Regulations.

• The current scheme (single stair) is still with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR).

• WQS is a priority regeneration scheme for Romford and the JV are commitment to unlocking this.

• Following a fire in the Parish Centre, the Garden had to be closed in the interests of public safety.

• Scaffolding has been erected in community garden with Heras fencing at it’s base.

• This has enabled for the garden to be re-opened.

• Work completed in the church yard to improve lighting to the site hoarding and removal of shrubs and bushes.

• Homeless team and charities have reached out to local rough sleepers.

• Hoarding completed on Parish Centre.

• Extra security still attending site.

TEMPORARY CAR PARK & PARISH HALL

• Proposed temporary parish hall (cabin) and temporary car park only for the use of church congregation to alleviate parking pressures.

• Proposals prepared and will be submitted for Planning permission.

• Public consultation will be held via the Planning Department when the application is considered.

• Planning application will be submitted in late August / September.

• Temporary planning application to be submitted.

• Public consultation will be carried out (via Planning Department).

• Development will be secured, with appropriate street lighting.

• Development will help activate the street.
