A specially designed performance adapted to reduce anxiety and create a supportive atmosphere. This performance is suitable for everyone but particularly for people with autism spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and other sensory and communication disorders. Patrons with additional needs are welcome at any performance in the theatre, however, if you think you or your companions would enjoy a more relaxed environment, Relaxed Performances offer specific support for you.


Pre-Theatre Dining Enjoy a meal before the show in our restaurant with freshly cooked delicious food. Main course (£14.50), two courses (£20.50) or three courses (£26.50) are served from two hours before the show (orders close 30 minutes before curtain up). The table is yours for the night – so you can return at the interval for drinks, desserts and coffee.

Joe Brown

Premier rock ‘n’ roll legend Joe Brown takes to the road to celebrate 60 years in the business. Valentine’s Night Murder Mystery Dinner

Musical In A Week

Dorothy finds herself in Oz after a terrible storm. There she makes friends with a cowardly lion, a heartless tin-man and brainless scarecrow and along with her faithful dog Toto she is tasked with bringing peace to a land terrorised by the infamous Wicked Witch of The West! But is she really as wicked as people say? A magical musical week offering the opportunity for ages 6-11 and 12-18 to produce their own performance combining the classic tale of Dorothy with songs of hit West End and Broadway shows.

Ensonglopedia of Animals Twenty-six animal songs, one for each letter of the alphabet. The Bluebird Club Zombie Night

A club night for people with learning disabilities and their friends. A chance to listen to the freshest sounds, relax in the chill out room, offering a safe environment to meet new friends, have fun and dance to great live music. With resident DJs & MCs from Outreach 3 Way, talented house band The Coasters and special guests. Suitable ages 14+ (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult). Beginner Guitar Classes

Saturdays from 12.25pm - 4 & 18 January; 8, 15 & 22 February; 14 & 28 March; 11 April; 2, 16 & 30 May Tutor Mark Orchin offers a 45-minute classes to beginners. Acoustic guitar for beginners (over 16) – learn the basic techniques and chords to accompany popular songs and develop into being able to play a few tunes and picking patterns. It is not essential to read music but some help will be given to follow chord/lead sheets and basic guitar tablature.

Blues Guitar Beginners Workshop Sat 11 January 10am-2.30pm (Part 1) & Sat 8 February (Part 2)

If you can already play the chords of E, A and B7, bring your acoustic guitar and learn to play tunes by Bo Diddley, Jimmy Reed and Howlin’ Wolf. In this practical workshop, blues musician Con O’Neill introduces the 12-bar blues, demystifying V-IV-Is, turnarounds, shuffles and introducing fundamental techniques such as hammer-ons and pull-offs, and using the pentatonic minor scale to play your first solos.
