The Hawth will for the foreseeable future only be open to members of the public attending classes or meetings during the day. Due to the disruption caused by the pandemic, for an initial period in the Winter/Spring season we will be offering a freshly-cooked bar food menu and pizzas before shows. Ticket holders will be informed when our more formal restaurant service will be re-introduced.
Enjoy a 12” stone baked thin and crispy pizza made the traditional way using fresh, authentic Italian ingredients. Pizzas can be booked online in advance and a table reservation will be made for you. Flowers Band
Now in its 53rd year of outstanding musical excellence, the band are the top band in the West of England and currently ranked the 5th best brass band in the UK and one of the top 10 in the world. Conducted by Paul Holland, whose 8-year tenure from 2009 marked the most successful period in the band’s history achieving many famous contest victories. In 2018, Paul returned to the helm, leading Flowers to further victories.

Saturdays from 8 January Led by experienced teacher and performer Mark Orchin, please bring your own instrument. Acoustic Guitar Saturdays 12.45pm-1.30pm Classes for those who have already started to learn the instrument (over 16s) and can play the basic chords and tune up. £7.50 per session. Ukulele Beginners 9.45-10.30am A new starters class for over 16s and adults. Intermediate 10.40am For those moving up from Beginners class and players who can follow a chord chart and play some simple melodies. Broadsword Stage Combat
Fri 30 April - Sun 2 May Standard, Intermediate, Advanced and Specialist Designed for people with no to little experience in Stage Combat, the workshop will give experience in the initial understanding of what stage combat is and how the staff is used on stage covering Health and Safety, footwork, how to attack and defend using the staff on stage. Life Drawing
Wednesdays 10am-12noon from 12 January Taking direct reference from the human form, and occasionally ‘still life’, the class aims to offer the opportunity for the participants to broaden their drawing skills, whatever the ability. A variety of materials are encouraged for experimentation and development in conjunction with guided, themed sessions. Age 16 +, no experience necessary. Please bring own materials.

The Hawth Youth Theatre for 6-18 years meets weekly for workshops dedicated to learning new skills in acting, performing arts, musical theatre, improvisation, script work and devising.
Our aim is to provide an exciting and creative space for young people to gain in confidence as well as form new friendships while expressing their individual talents. Discounts Although discounts apply in most cases, external promoters may on occasion exclude certain categories and all discounts are subject to availability. Only one discount may be claimed per ticket. Refund/Exchange of tickets We will issue a credit voucher valid for 12 months for tickets returned at least a week before the performance. For sold out performances, the Box Office must ensure a buyer for the tickets before a credit voucher can be offered. Admin charges apply. Cash refunds cannot be given.

Crawley is midway between London and Brighton and is easily accessible by cycle, bus, rail car and air (Gatwick Airport is four miles away). By Bike The Hawth is less than 5 minutes away from both rail stations. We have free undercover cycle parking and cycle maps are available from Box Office.
