SERGEY SOLOGUB Technical Subjects


Sergey Sologub was born in 1957 in Kirovograd Town, Russia. He graduated from Russian State Cinema Institute (VGIK), Design Production Department. In 1997-1991 Sergey Sologub worked as a designer of production at the Sverdlovsk Movie Studio. The artist is resident of Cologne, Germany since 1991. He has participated in more than thirty group exhibitions and twenty-two oneman shows around the world. In 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006 his paintings had win a privilege to participate in an Annual Exhibition of Cologne Museums "Lange Museum Nacht", Germany. Artist's paintings cannot be compared with any contemporary art. Each of Sergey Sologub paintings has a mysterious question, but is not a dream, rather a reality of the modern world. "Winter Garden", "Silence", and "Paper Visit" are a few of his best unusual canvases from the artist's surreal world. It's no doubt, Sergey Sologub is brightly represented in the Art of Imagination of XXI century.
